Gustafson Takes Back to Back Pots

Niveau 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

A raise to 600 from late position got 3 callers, giving four way action to the flop.

A continuation bet of 500 was made on the {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop, which was called by Phil Gustafson on the button, as well as the small blind, before the big blind got out of the way.

The {5-Spades} turn was checked through before the {k-Spades} river. The small blind fired for 1,000, getting a call from late position before Gustafson put in a raise to 3,600. The small blind was the only caller. Gustafson turned over {3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the six high straight, while his opponent showed {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for trip kings. Gustafson's straight was good, and he raked in the pot.

On the next hand, five players limped preflop, before Gustafson fired for 600 on the {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop, getting just one caller, the big blind.

On the {10-Hearts} turn, Gustafson continued for 2,500, getting a quick fold from his opponent, giving him his second consecutive pot.
