Zobian Not Stoked About Major Blow

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a preflop contest, Ryan Stoker was all in for 550,000 and had the best of it against Aram Zobian. He vaulted out of his seat for other friends such as Conrad Simpson to check out what is happening.

"We got it in for heaps and I am actually ahead," Stoker said as his {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} was exposed. Zobian only had the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and the {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs} board changed nothing whatsoever, as Zobian was sent back to the drawing board.

Camilo was in a lot of trouble until the {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} flop put him way in the lead.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Camilo was able to breathe new life.

Joining the action on the turn the board was {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Jeff Lennon bet 135,000 from early position. His opponent in the small blind called.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Lennon fired again when checked to. This time the bet was 190,000. The small blind snap-called but was no good against Lennon's {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

While playing the bubble of Online Event #4: $1,000 PLO 6-Max, Ryan Leng called a middle position raise on the button. The big blind also came along to see the {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop.

The original raiser led out for 50,000 and Leng quickly bumped it up to 180,000. Both opponents mucked their hand, and Leng revealed {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} as he took the pot and turned back to his laptop.

Vohra Flips Well Against Lurie

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jesse Lurie held onto a shorter stack for a while and eventually got it in with the {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. On a table filled with Brazilians, he was looked up by recent WSOP bracelet winner Raj Vohra who turned over the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

The {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} board was a tease for Lurie but the pocket pair of Vohra secured the knockout, as the field already plummeted below 280 contenders.

Mizrachi Forced to Sweat, Chops with Shih

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In late position, Kenny Shih opened to 35,000 and the cutoff called. Michael Mizrachi three-bet to just under 200,000 and Shih went all in for around 725,000. The cutoff folded and Mizrachi snap-called with a similar stack.

Kenny Shih: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Michael Mizrachi: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}, giving Shih a freeroll to his backdoor flush. Things got interesting on the {7-Spades} turn.

However, the {k-Clubs} came on the river, resulting in a chop for all the dead money.

Nicola Di Trapani raised it up to 35,000 from under the gun and Eli Loewenthal then pushed for 375,000 from one seat over. A reluctant call by Di Trapani followed and he had Loewenthal pipped by one notch when the cards were revealed.
