Michael Park Eliminated in 23rd Place ($27,271)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Michael Park
Michael Park

Action folded to Michael Park in the hijack, who moved all in for 2,500,000. After a count from the dealer, Kathy Liebert made the call in the cutoff. The rest of the table got out of the way, and the two flipped their hands.

Michael Park: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Kathy Liebert: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Liebert was ahead with her aces, and only improved as the {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop gave her a set and left Park drawing thin. The {8-Hearts} turn and {7-Diamonds} river completed the board, offering no help to Park. He was eliminated in 23rd place and will take home a cash of $27,271.

Michael Campitelli Eliminated in 25th Place ($27,271)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Michael Campitelli
Michael Campitelli

Michael Campitelli open-shoved for 2,200,000 from under the gun and Valerii Lubenets shoved his stack of nearly 6,200,000 in from the hijack.

Eric Smidinger, sitting in the cutoff, put his 3,950,000 into the middle and we had a three-way all-in pre-flop pot up for grabs.

Michael Campitelli: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Eric Smidinger: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Valerii Lubenets: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Smidinger was way ahead and stayed ahead on the {8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. The {q-Hearts} hit the turn and the {7-Spades} arrived on the river, giving Smidinger the whole pot and eliminating Campitelli.

Lubenets was left with just 2,200,000 while Smidinger stacked his newly-found chips valued at 10,600,000.

Mark Williams Eliminated in 26th Place ($27,271)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Mark Williams
Mark Williams

After a raise to 400,000 from the button from Ben Sarnoff, Mark Williams moved all in from the big blind. Sarnoff made the call with Williams covered.

Mark Williams: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Ben Sarnoff: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Williams was behind, but picked up hope on the {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop which gave him a set. That hope was perhaps tempered a bit on the {k-Clubs} turn, which gave Sarnoff a straight draw, but Williams was still in good position to double up and survive. The {10-Diamonds} hit the table on the river to give Sarnoff the Broadway straight, eliminating Williams in heart breaking fashion. Williams finished in 26th place, for which he'll take home $27,271.

Deonarine Itwaru Eliminated in 27th Place ($22,133)

Niveau 31 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Deonarine Itwaru
Deonarine Itwaru

Deonarine Itwaru moved all in preflop from middle position for around 925,000. He got a call from Jan Pettersson in the big blind, who had him covered.

Deonarine Itwaru: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Jan Pettersson: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Itwaru was ahead, but the {8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop was a good one for Petterson, as he paired his ace. The {6-Hearts} gave Pettersson a flush draw as well, before the {q-Diamonds} arrived on the river, improving Pettersson to top two pair. Itwaru was left with just a pair. Pettersson scooped the pot, while Itwaru headed for the rail. He finished in 27th place and will take home a cash of $22,133 for his efforts.

Sarnoff's Hero Call Puts Him Among Chip Leaders

Niveau 30 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Ben Sarnoff
Ben Sarnoff

Ben Sarnoff started the day as chipleader, and has had one of the biggest stacks of the field all day. After Kathy Liebert pulled ahead around the dinner break, Sarnoff has made up considerable ground.

Andy Finkelberg opened for 400,000 from the button. Sarnoff, the big blind, was the only caller.

On the {2-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop, Sarnoff checked to Finkelberg who continued for 300,000. Sarnoff made the call.

The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked through before the button jammed on the {5-Diamonds} river for 2,600,000. Sarnoff took a few minutes to make his decision, but eventually found the call.

"Good call," Finkelberg told him before any cards had flipped. He turned over {j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, good for just jack high with the paired board. Sarnoff showed {k-Spades}{5-Spades}, good for two pair on the river. Another series of "Good call" comments came both others at the table and a few spectators from the rail.

Dagostino Delivers Knockout to Aldridge

Niveau 30 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Ken Aldridge, one of the last remaining seniors to have previously won a bracelet, will not get his second in this year's Seniors Championship.

Aldridge open jammed from the button for 825,000. Jamal Sawaqdeh, the small blind, shoved as well before Joseph Dagostino made the call. Sawaqdeh had both players covered.

Ken Aldridge: {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Joseph Dagostino: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Jamal Sawaqdeh: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop paired both Dagostino's and Sawaqdeh's ace, as well as giving all three players a flush draw with Dagostino having the best of the draws and the best of the pairs. The {k-Spades} turn gave Aldridge a bit of hope as he picked up a straight draw, but the river bricked out with the {5-Clubs}, giving Dagostino the pot, doubling his stack through Sawaqdeh while sending Aldridge to the rail. Aldridge left in good spirits, wishing the players who eliminated him luck and shaking their hands.
