Pirault, On The Road

Niveau 8 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Just before the break, we caught Francois Pirault all in with Aces, from the cut-off. He was playing this hand versus the player at the button.

"I bet 3,500 before the flop, then I just 3-barrel 7,000 on the flop {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}, 12,000 on the turn {9-Diamonds} and all-in on the river {6-Diamonds}. My opponent had something like 35,000."

And not enough in his hand to beat {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for the French player, who's now got more than three starting stacks.

Full Double For Reis Blind on Blind

Niveau 8 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Rafael Reis
Rafael Reis

After a small blind call from his opponent, Rafael Reis raised to around 6,000 from the big blind. His opponent reraised to 25,000, Reis moved all in, and the small blind called off.

Reis was way ahead with his {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} against the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} of his opponent.

The flop was a little scary for Reis, {2-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Spades} but after the {k-Diamonds} and {a-Clubs} fell, it secured the Brazilian the full double-up.
