Mathias Duarte: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, which was no help to Duarte. The {2-Hearts} turn did give him more outs with a gunshot to a wheel, however, the river was the {9-Spades} and Iosub was eliminated early in the day.

With 7,000,000 in the middle on a board of {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, Safwane Bahri moved all in for 10,775,000 from the button. Salah Nimer in the big blind covered Bahri and was left with a big decision.

Nimer went deep into the tank for over four minutes and had the clock called on him. With two seconds left of the tournament director's countdown, Nimer made a verbal call.

Safwane Bahri: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Salah Nimer: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

As soon as Bahri turned his hand over Nimer clapped loudly in celebration and moved to the top of the leaderboard. Bahri's bluff almost paid off, but he has paid the ultimate price and has been eliminated.
