Chips Up, Buttons Down for "Stan Diego"

Niveau 13
Stanley Krimerman
Stanley Krimerman

Stanley Krimerman has proven to be one of the more colorful characters in the field Thursday.

Known for playing with his shirt wide open and a burst of protruding chest hair, the man known as "Stan Diego", who hails from the San Diego area, has seen his stack grow steadily through the day.

However, in a recent pot, Krimerman couldn't boost his stack further, as after shedding a four-way pot to heads up by betting 4,000 from early position on a turn board of {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} and being called by Paul Taylor under the gun, Krimerman fired another 10,000 on the river {q-Hearts}.

Taylor again check-called the bet, and after Krimerman reluctantly showed the {a-Spades}, Taylor tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}, for two pair, aces and queens for the winner.

Perhaps with the recent hit to his stack, "Stan Diego" will be feeling a bit hot under the collar as the night nears its conclusion.

Belchie Gets Huge Half Pot

Niveau 13

Limit Omaha 8 or Better

With 42,000 in the middle on a completed board of {k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, there were four active players in the hand. The big blind, under the gun, middle position, and William Belchie in the cutoff.

Belchie and middle position ended up in a raising war with the big blind and under the gun calling every step of the way. Belchie eventually capped the betting and turned over {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a full house and was only worried about someone having quad-fours.

Fortunately for Belchie, the other players could only turn over {a-}{2-} who third the low portion of the pot whilst Belchie takes all of the high pot for 61,000.

Deeb Drawing Live on Prop Bet with Oxman

Niveau 13
Shaun Deeb

A recent pass of table 83 has seen one-time chip leader Ari Oxman's stack further shortened, with a large problem to his direct left in the form of five-time bracelet winner Adam Friedman.

"Shaun sent this guy over here to get me," joked Oxman, who will owe Deeb $500 should he bust before the end of the night.

Meanwhile, Nicole Cantrell has also grown her healthy stack to over 100,000 as several players at Oxman's table are now very capable of sending Oxman to the rail should a big pot develop.

Kendall Chips Up

Niveau 12

With 8,000 in the middle on a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} the big blind bet 3,000 and was called by Tony Kendall in the cutoff.

The {9-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and the big blind bet 3,000 which once again was called by Kendall.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and the big blind opted to check. Kendall mounted the pressure and bet 17,000 which was enough to put the big blind all in. The big blind however elected to fold and Kendall took the pot.
