After 15 levels of play, Event #74: $1,500 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha has wrapped up with 124 players bagging and tagging for Day 2. Those who made it through Day 1 will be playing for a $190,219 first-place prize.

The day saw 1,390 entrants take to the tables in the Paris Ballroom, with each knockout giving the winner a $500 bounty. Many notable players took to the tables, with a lot of them using their reentry option. Play was aggressive as players tried to build stacks early to give themselves better chances at scoring bounties.

Day 1 saw Player of the Year leader Dan Zack and second place Daniel Weinman, with Zack making the money to extend his lead at the top of the POY race. Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu were two other notables who joined Day 1 and they were even found seated next to each other at one point, shortly before they both busted.

Ireland Rivers a Miracle Against Scully

Niveau 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Ryan Scully opened the action to 10,000 from under the gun and it folded to Anderson Ireland in the cutoff who three-bet to 30,000 which only Scully called.

The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {3-Hearts} hit the turn and Scully bet 40,000 which was called.

The {k-Spades} completed the board and Scully checked over to Ireland who bet 65,000. Without much deliberation Scully made the call. Ireland confidently rolled over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for rivered top boat and Scully looked sick as he flashed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for the bigger over-pair.

Yueqi 'Rich' Zhu was just involved in a pot where he three-bet preflop from the small blind versus the cutoff who called the 36,000.

On a board of {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} they got it in and Zhu had his opponent covered by just a few yellow 1,000 chips, for around 45,000 more.
