Fei Adds to Stack

Niveau 3 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

There was around 17,000 in the middle when the flop read {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts} at the end of the previous level.

Wesley Fei and Daniel Negreanu checked from the blinds and so did Dan Smith on the button.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and Fei checked again. Negreanu bet 6,000 and Smith called. Fei raised it up to 30,000.

"Damnit," Negreanu said with a huge smile before folding and adding: "Oops."

Smith called.

The river completed the board with the {4-Spades} and they both checked. Fei showed the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} for two pair. This caused Smith to hesitate, look at his cards again before pushing them into the muck eventually.

Aido Gets Value

Niveau 2 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded around to Yang Wang in the small blind and he raised to 6,000. Sergio Aido called out of the big blind to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

The {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop saw Wang continue for 9,000 with Aido making the call.

Action checked through the {4-Spades} turn to the {3-Diamonds} river where Wang again checked. Aido, not prepared to go to a cheap showdown, fired off 23,000. Wang did not pause for long before making the call but mucked after Aido showed down {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Koon Clashes With Smith

Niveau 2 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Jason Koon in middle position was involved in a hand with Dan Smith in the cutoff. With the board reading {9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, Koon checked and Smith led out for 11,000. Koon considered for some time before making the call.

Both players checked on the {k-Diamonds} river and Koon turned over {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the flush. "11k not scared?" questioned Smith. "Was it personal?" he continued in a joking manner as Koon raked in his newly acquired chips.
