Jensen Jousts Obreshkov Out of the High Roller

Niveau 5 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stoyan Obreshkov's chips all went into the middle from the small blind for 191,000 when the board read {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and he was called and at risk as Gregory Jensen had him covered in the cutoff.

Stoyan Obreshkov: {k-Spades}{3-Spades}
Gregory Jensen: {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Obreshkov had flopped a pair of treys and flush draw but Jensen had flopped top pair, turned two pair, and rivered a full house.

Winters Finds A Call

Niveau 5 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Thomas Winters opened to 10,000 from early position and received calls from Joshua Robertson in the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo out of the big blind.

Petrangelo checked on the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Winters continued for 14,000. Robertson quickly got out of the way while Petrangelo called to send the two players heads-up to the turn.

Action checked through the {a-Diamonds} turn to the {9-Diamonds} river where Petrangelo took over the betting lead, pushing 21,000 into the middle after using two time banks to make his decision. Winters gave the matter some thought but ultimately decided on a call. Petrangelo mucked as Winters raked in the pot.

Friedman Falls to Fei

Niveau 5 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Wesley Fei
Wesley Fei

Wesley Fei excitedly got up from his chair as Prahlad Friedman was obviously not as his stack was being counted out by the dealer even though Fei clearly had Friedman covered.

The board read {8-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} with Fei's {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} showing for the nut flush. Friedman's cards were turned over still but the dealer revealed the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for two pair before Friedman could really leave the table.

Vogelsang Makes the Wrong Call Against Hunichen

Niveau 5 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The board read {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} with around 60,000 in the middle.

Chris Hunichen had checked in the big blind and Christoph Vogelsang bet 30,000 from the cutoff. Hunichen raised to 105,000 to send Vogelsang in the tank.

At the same time, Jared Bleznick and Seth Davies were discussing something and Vogelsang asked them if they could stop for a bit while he considered his options.

Bleznick wasn't too happy about the request: "Don't ask me to stop talking if you're going to take over a f***cking minute to think about every decision."

As the shot clock was still going, Vogelsang didn't respond as kept on thinking about his options while Yong Wang and Davies tried to say it wasn't actually taking that long as there was a shot clock any ways.

In the end, Vogelsang flicked in a chip for the call but mucked when Hunichen tabled the {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the flopped trip treys.

"Nice hand," Vogelsang commented before paying up and giving two time bank cards to the dealer.

Smith Takes Small One Off Bonomo

Niveau 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 9,000 from middle position and was called by Dan Smith in the small blind as well as Cary Katz in the big blind to generate three-way action heading to the flop.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs} and both blinds checked to Bonomo, who continued for 8,000. Smith called while Katz released his holding to setup heads-up action.

Both players checked through the {4-Spades} turn to the {q-Hearts} river where they each checked again. Smith tabled {k-Spades}{5-Spades} to take a small pot off Bonomo.

With the addition of the following players, the field is up to 56 entries with one player who hasn't shown up yet:

Jensen Gets Peters to Fold

Niveau 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The board read {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} with around 60,000 in the middle already.

Gregory Jensen had checked in the small blind for David Peters to bet 18,0000. Jensen responded with a raise to 38,000 which Peters called.

The {q-Hearts} completed the board and Jensen fired a bet of 75,000 for Peters to fold.

Fei Happy To Chop

Niveau 4 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Joe Cada opened to 9,000 from under the gun and was called by Cary Katz in the cutoff. Wesley Fei then three-bet to 32,000 on the button. Cada opted to call only to see Katz announce all in. Fei snap called before attempting to indicate to the dealer that he had meant to re-jam. It was inconsequential as Cada had already mucked.

Cary Katz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Wesley Fei: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

It looked as if both players would chop up the pot, with little changing on the {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Katz picked up the diamond draw on the {10-Diamonds} turn, however, with Fei left sweating the river. The board bricked out {2-Hearts} with Fei emitting a cry of victory as the two players pulled back their stacks.
