Parminder Doubles Up with Set Over Set

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The heads-up action was picked up with about 40,000 in the pot and a board of {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Kumar Parminder moved all in from early position for 41,000, putting the action on Eric Persson in the big blind. This sent Persson into the tank for several minutes. "You just sat down. I have no read on you. This isn't fair," he said, "but I do like your jacket."

Eventually, Persson announced a call. He turned over {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a set of sevens, while Parminder flipped over {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for a set of kings. The {2-Hearts} river changed nothing, and Parminder scored the huge double up.

Spinella Spinning it Back

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The cutoff raised to 800 and the button called. Anthony Spinella was in the small blind and three-bet to 4,500. Both his opponents came along.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Spinella led for 4,500 which prompted two folds from his adversaries and he collected the pot to move it closer back up to starting stack.

Guimond Takes One From Deyra

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Florian Guimond opened to 1,000 from late position and was called by Ivan Deyra out of the big blind.

Deyra checked to the preflop raiser on a flop of {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Guimond continued for 800 and was called.

Both players checked through the {2-Spades} turn to the {2-Hearts} river where Deyra took some time before ultimately checking. Guimond checked back and turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, good enough to scoop the pot and take some chips from his compatriot.

Jorgensen Makes a Bigger Full House

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Liran Machluf and Rulen Jorgensen both put 2,400 in the middle to see the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop and Jorgensen check-called a bet of 2,000 from Machluf.

The {q-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Jorgensen check-called once again, this time Machluf bet 2,600.

When the {k-Spades} hit the river, Jorgensen took the lead, making a bet of 1,200. Machluf gave it some thought and raised to 4,200. Jorgensen quickly called to see Machluf's {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}, which was kings full of eights and Jorgensen took down the pot with {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, making kings full of queens.

Dong Shoves River In Big Pot

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The action was picked up on a board of {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} in a pot of nearly 25,000. Victor Dong checked from early position and the hijack bet 16,000. Dong put some thought in before making the call.

The river was the {j-Diamonds} and Dong elected to move all in for 38,600, just barely covering his opponent. The hijack took a moment but eventually made the fold and the large pot was shipped to Dong.

"Show the bluff", said a tablemate jokingly as Dong collected his chips.

Bryan Peruski moved all in for 5,400 from middle position and was called by Renan Bruschi from the hijack. Vincent Giuliano then jammed for 37,500 on the button. Bruschi folded.

Bryan Peruski: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Vincent Giuliano: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Peruski was dominated and found himself leaving the Main Event after the {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} runout.
