Johannes Becker check-called a bet by James Chen on the 862 flop and check-raised the A turn for Chen to come along. Becker bet the J river and Chen raised to earn a sigh-call from his opponent.

Chen revealed the AAK10 for a set of aces and Becker took the low with the Q943.

One hand later, James Obst raised first to act and Chen defended the big blind. He check-called a K87 flop and the J turn was checked. Chen bet the 7 river and Obst folded.

Lamb Continues to Chip-Up; Wins a Blind Versus Blind Battle Against Kupin

Ben Lamb called from the small blind and faced a raise from the big blind of Aaron Kupin, which Lamb called.

The flop rolled out QJQ and it checked through. Lamb lead out on the 2 turn and Kupin made the call. Lamb bet once again on the 10 river and Kupin sigh called.

Lamb tabled 9863 and announced, "nine-high flush," which would be good enough to take it down.

Chen Gets One Through Against Velador

Luis Velador defended his big blind against a button raise by table short stack James Chen. Until the A10386 river, Chen had very few chips behind and bet again when checked to. Velador folded and Chen was relieved, letting out a "oooffff".

"Not sure about oooffff, nothing I could beat," Velador responded.

Large Scoop for Daly Against Becker

In a duel small blind versus button, the flop showed J87 in a three-bet pot and Johannes Becker bet for Jason Daly to raise, earning a call from Becker. The 6 fell on the turn and Becker check-raised to then call a three-bet by Daly before he check-called a bet on the A river.

Daly tabled his A542 for a straight and second nut low, which left Becker briefly confused. He double-checked his cards and exposed the AJ72 for two pair and a live eight that ended up getting scooped.

Ruben check-called two streets on a 2210J board but gave up on the 8 river, prompting Lamb to exclaim, "somebody close that gate!" Before mucking his cards face down.

On a board of 55210Q, James Chen in the big blind had called bets by James Obst on the flop and turn to then fold the river when the low draw bricked.

Both tangled shortly after in a battle of the blinds, Chen check-called the AQ10 flop and 3 turn. The 2 fell on the river and Chen checked once more. Obst fired a final bet and Chen folded with plenty of frustration.

The 8 turn went check bet call and the dealer burned and turned an A river, which checked through.

Ruben tabled 8552 for a full house, fives full of deuces and Seidel studied his hand for a moment before mucking.

James Obst was left short when he folded on the flop against heads-up action between James Chen and Jason Daly, who ended up chopping the pot. That left the Aussie with one and a half big bets and he got those in via three-bet on the button. Jason Daly in the big blind called, as did initial raiser Johannes Becker from under the gun and Chen from the next seat.

On a flop of A97 flop, Daly checked and Becker bet to receive two calls. The Q turn was checked by Daly, Becker bet again and Chen now folded while Daly called. They checked down the Q river and the cards were exposed.

Both Becker and Obst had flopped two pair but the kicker saved Obst, who quadrupled up.

Jason Daly raised and James Obst three-bet out of the small blind, after which Daly inquired about the stack of the opponent. They ended up capping it and Obst bet the 843 flop, Daly raised and Obst got his short stack in with Daly nodding instantly to go ahead with the showdown.
