Day 2 of the Event #33: $10,000 Razz Championship is slated to recommence at 1 p.m. local time. The latest Championship Event of the 2023 World Series of Poker has attracted 102 unique players thus far at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas to generate a prize pool of $948,600 but both numbers are subject to change, as the late registration remains open until the cards go back in the air.
Leading the way thus far is Roy Thung with 303,000 in chips but several big names of the mixed games scene are hot on his heels such as Scott Bohlman (271,000), Adam Owen (252,000), Bryce Yockey (244,500), and Brian Yoon (241,500).

All players entering prior to the start of Day 2 will receive 60,000 in chips for level 11, which features an ante of 1,000, bring in of 1,000, completion of 4,000 and limits of 4,000/8,000. The levels as of today and until a winner has been crowned last 90 minutes long and there will be a break after each level with a scheduled dinner break upon completion of level 14 at approximately 7.30 p.m. local time.
It is expected that the penultimate tournament day will get close to or even go beyond the bubble. No longer in contention is the defending champion Julien Martini, who was one of many notable casualties on Day 1 which reduced the field to 54 survivors.
Stay tuned right here on PokerNews to find out who inches one step closer to adding a WSOP gold bracelet to their resume.
