Bullock Doubles Through Parry

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Jason Bullock
Jason Bullock

Jason Bullock raised to 350,000 in first position which saw Matthew Parry call on the button.

The flop rolled out 547 and Bullock moved all in for 695,000 which Parry called.

Jason Bullock: Q1098
Matthew Parry: QJ98

Both players held club draws and the same straight draw and Bullock needed to catch a ten to scoop. The turn 7 didn't change anything, but the river 10 gave Bullock tens up and he clapped his hands as he caught an early day double.

Finale of the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Event Begins at Noon

Matthew Beinner
Matthew Beinner

A total of 1,355 entrants came out to play Event #34: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha. This created a prize pool of $1,808,925, which was divided up among the final 203 players. Most of those players have departed the field, leaving just ten remaining who have locked up $20,049, but who have eyes on the WSOP bracelet and the $298,192 to first place.

Three players this year have already won their fifth bracelet. Brian Yoon, Josh Arieh, and John Monnette all added a fifth bracelet to their decorated resumes and if chip leader Robert Mizrachi (5,680,000) wins here today, he will add his name to that list. Mizrachi has been a staple of WSOP for years, winning his first bracelet back in 2007 in this very game. Now over 15 years later, he looks to prove his mastery of the game by winning another bracelet in this event.

Rounding out the top three are a couple of Matthews. Matthew Beinner (5,175,000) and Matthew Parry (4,170,000). Beinner has been a relative newcomer to the poker scene, with WSOP cashes dating back only to 2022. He has already secured his best WSOP score and looks to improve that further by a first win. Parry is far from a WSOP newcomer and has WSOP tournament cashes dating back to 2012. Parry’s best finish at a WSOP event was fifth place in a PLO event in 2016, and he looks to top that finish here today.

Two others in the field have also won bracelets, one of which was in this game. Sean Troha (3,935,000) won the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha in 2022, and he looks to add a second bracelet to his resume. Antonin Teisseire (2,210,000) won his first WSOP bracelet 12 years ago and looks to add a second one and take home the first bracelet for France this year.
