Joe Cassidy: XxXx / Qx4xQx8x / Xx
David Williams: 4x3x / Ax8x8x6x / 9x

Picking up the action on sixth street, David Williams bet with an open pair of eights and was called by Joe Cassidy. When seventh street was dealt, the cards were accidentally flipped over for both as Williams received the 3 and Cassidy the J.

The floor was called and both open cards on seventh were shuffled back into the remaining deck. Williams then bet and Cassidy tank-folded. "I already had it," Williams mentioned and exposed the 3x4x in the hole and new 9x on seventh.

In the meanwhile, Alexander Wilkinson has been eliminated from one table over.

Jungle Wins Big Pot From Yockey

Niveau 7
Dan Terminator Cates
Dan Terminator Cates

Pot Limit Omaha

Action folded to Bryce Yockey in the cutoff who limped for 3,000. Dan 'Jungleman' Cates called on the button, Chris Moneymaker called in the small blind, and Brian Yoon called in the big blind. The players were off to a flop four-ways.

The 106A flop hit the felt and action checked to Yockey who bet 7,500. Jungleman called on the button and the blinds folded. Heads up to a K turn, Yockey slowed down and checked. Cates pounced and put out a bet of 25,000. The price would only stay at a quarter for a moment when Yockey put in the quick check-raise to 105,000. Cates thought it over for a moment and called.

The 5 landed on the river and Yockey didn't think for long before putting out 100,000. Cates snap called.

Yockey said "straight", and briefly tabled QxJxXxXx but mucked it quickly when Cates rolled over 101098 for a flopped middle set and rivered flush.

Cates scooped a big pot to keep him in contention on day two of the Poker Players Championship.

Two Small Pots in a Row

Niveau 7

Pot-Limit Omaha

With 59,000 in the middle to the A759 turn, Yuri Dzivielevski checked over to Alex Livingston who bet 27,000 and forced a fold.

One hand later, Dylan Linde raised to 9,000 on the button for Tommy Hang and Shaun Deeb to defend the blinds. They checked the entire AK8A3 board and Deeb announced "tens." Linde had that beat with the JJ86 and won the pot.

After the hand concluded, Dzivielevski was high-carded to a brand new table to accommodate the growing field.

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Fresh off his triumph in the $250,000 Super High Roller for his first WSOP bracelet and over $5,000,000 in winnings, Chris Brewer is in the field and has scored an early elimination.

Brewer raised in the hijack to 6,000 and got three-bet to 26,000 by Scott Bohlman on the button.

Brewer asked for a count from Bohlman, which was for 104,000 total. Brewer then dropped a stack of green T-25,000 chips forward, and Bohlman called off.

Both players stood pat and despite Bohlman having a strong 9x6x5x4x2x, he was run over by Brewer's wheel 7x5x4x3x2x.

Matthew Ashton raised under the gun and got called by Cary Katz in the big blind.

After each player drew one, Katz led out for 19,000. While Ashton was thinking, Katz motioned a couple of times like he was tossing away his cards.

Ashton decided to make Katz show his cards instead and made the call.

Katz showed 9x6x4x3x2x, and it was Ashton who was then tossing away his cards.

Williams Takes From Arieh

No Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Action folded to David Williams in middle position who opened to 10,000. Day one chip leader, Josh Arieh, called in late position. Each player opted to draw one and Williams checked. Arieh didn't waste much time before betting out for 20,000.

Williams went into the tank for a moment but eventually tossed his calling chips across to Arieh as if to say, take these and show me a winner.

Arieh rolled over 8x7x5x3x3x and Williams said "I knew it! That's why I called!" and tabled Jx8x6x3x2x.

Williams made a great call and got some of the chip leaders fortune in the process.
