Dan Cates: XxXx / 10♦7♣5♠A♠ / Xx
Viktor Blom: XxXx / 3♥3♣2♥9♣ / Xx
Defending champion Dan Cates continues to build his stack and added even more chips just now. In a heads-up pot to sixth street, he bet when checked to by Viktor Blom and the Swede called. Cates bet again seventh street and Blom elected to muck.
After the hand concluded, Dustin Dirksen asked Chris Brewer whether or not there had been any celebrations the previous night. "I had two beers and that's it, I was so tired," Brewer replied before adding that he isn't tired at all today.

Marco Johnson: XxXx / J♦A♦3♥8♥ / Xx
David Williams: XxXx / 10♣A♣10♦7♠ / Xx
David Williams bet fifth street with a pair of tens showing and one further bet went in after sixth street against Marco Johnson. The latter then bet seventh and Williams reluctantly called, tossing over the chips to his table neighbour already as if he was expecting defeat.
Johnson revealed the A♠2♣2♠ for aces and deuces to win the pot.

Ben Diebold defended his big blind against a raise by Jared Bleznick and check-called a bet on the 9♣9♦4♣ flop. He check-called again on the 10♥ turn before Bleznick checked behind the on the 10♦ river. Diebold tabled the K♥4♦ for nines and fours to win the pot, which left Bleznick rather annoyed.

Pot-Limit Omaha
On the heads-up turn of Q♠6♠4♦4♣, Chris Brewer bet 65,000 into a pot of around 100,000 and Bryce Yockey on the button tank-folded.
Two hands later, recent addition Kristopher Tong opened to 11,000 and Cates called in the cutoff, as did Brewer in the big blind. The 7♥6♥3♠ flop saw Brewer lead for 16,000 and Tong folded while Cates called. The J♥ turn was checked and Brewer bet the 9♥ river for 66,000.
Cates tanked for two minutes while giving his opponent a deep stare and then elected to fold without saying a word.
Besides Tong, Saya Ono has also entered the field and can now be found over on table 133.
