Sitbon Scores a Double with "Lady Gaga"

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There was a raise to 1,100 in early position and Andrew Swenson three-bet to 3,300 on his left. Julien Sitbon shipped all in for 8,900 on the button and Ren Lin flat-called from the big blind. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Julien Sitbon: QQ
Ren Lin: 99

"Ahh, Lade Gaga," Lin said to Sitbon. "What are you scared of? Maybe Lady Gaga no good on Monday."

The board ran out 105432 and Sitbon's pocket queens turned out to be just fine in order to score a double-up.

Hansen Uses his "One Time" in Level Four of Tournament

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up just before the flop. A player was all-in from the big blind against Todd Hansen from the cutoff who covered his opponent.

Big Blind: AK
Todd Hansen: JJ

"Jack one time!" Hansen announced before the flop came 8J4. Hansen got up from his seat and seemed more excited about calling the jack than winning the pot. The 3 turn and 3 river were inconsequential, Hansen secured the elimination and was awarded a nice pot.

As he scooped up his chips his table mates jokingly reminded him that he had used up his one time early in the tournament and that he might be in trouble because of it later on.

Buckner Takes a Beat

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Three players went to a flop of 643 and Steven Buckner made a bet of 2,000 on the button. The big blind called and another player check-raised to 7,000. Buckner called and the big blind got out of the way.

The turn was the 5 and Buckner was faced with an all-in of 13,200 which he snap called. Buckner tabled 87 for a straight with flush redraw and his opponent held Q9 for a bigger flush draw. The river was the K and Buckner slammed the table after getting outdrawn.

"They're f***ing awful, cuz," Buckner shouted.

Kornuth Clashes with Castro in Six-Bet Pot

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A player from middle position opened to 800 before Chance Kornuth three-bet to 1,600 from the hijack. Leonardo Castro four-bet to 4,500, folding out the player in middle position. Kornuth thought for a moment before putting in a five-bet to 8,400.

The banter at this table had been jovial for the last few levels, and Kornuth exchanged a look with his opponent before they both broke out in laughter. Castro put in a six-bet all in after a moment of consideration.

Kornuth let out an expletive and mucked his cards as Castro scooped a nice pot without having to see a flop.

"That was the first six-bet pot I've seen since 2004" a player at the table joked.
