Black Doubles with Flush

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With 70,000 in the middle on the flop of J65, Andy Black moved all in for 127,000 from middle position. The button folded and the small blind went into the tank. Eventually they opted to make the call.

Andy Black: AK
Small Blind: 43

Black was ahead with ace-high and the nut flush draw, while the small blind had a useless flush draw, but did have an open-ender.

The 2 on the turn gave the Irishman the nut flush and the small blind could only hit the 5 to take the pot. The Q on the river confirmed a big double up for Black.

The flop came down 5QA and was checked in both spots.

On a 7 turn, Tomasetti bet 50,000 and Derman matched it. The river was the 4. Tomasetti made it 100,000 to go and again received a call.

Derman tabled AK, Tomasetti mirrored him, showing AK and the chips were chopped up.

No Bust for Dabus

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

There was a player under the gun who went all in for 42,000. The player next to act in early position called and action was on Frederico Dabus on the button.

Dabus took his time and eventually put in a raise to 125,000 which covered the early position caller. The player went into the tank for almost two minutes before calling off for his tournament.

They were three ways to a flop with two players all in.

Under the Gun: K10
Early positon: KQ
Fred Dabus: JJ

The flop left almost no sweat for Dabus as it came J66. The 3 turn and A river were clean and Dabus scored a double knockout to boost his stack well above average.
