Scheduling Change

Niveau 13 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 7,500 ante

Due to the delayed start, the dinner break has been moved up to the end of this level rather than at the conclusion of Level 14. In addition, while the plan had been to whittle the field down to five players, that never appeared to be a realistic outcome and, as expected, the tournament director has announced that the day will end after Level 17.

Chris Brewer opened to 8,000 from the cutoff and Galen Hall defended out of the big blind.

Both players took two cards after which Hall led out for 11,000. Brewer thought for some time as he appeared to consider making a move but ultimately chose the cautious route and tossed his cards away.
