Rheem Chips Up

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Chino Rheem opened to 6,000 in the small blind, advising John Holley in the big blind as he did so that "I've beat you in every pot, let this one go". Holley declined to take that advice, instead making the call.

Rheem continued for 6,000 on a flop of 646 and that second bit of pressure was enough to convince Holley to lay down his hand and concede the small pot to his opponent.

Li Gets a Late Double

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Yingui Li opened from under the gun and received calls from a player in early position as well as the big blind.

The big blind checked on the 657 flop, prompting Li to lead out for 12,000. That bet was called by the early position player while the big blind got out of the way.

The 5 turn saw Li get his remaining chips into the middle with the early position player putting him at risk.

Yingui Li: A772
Early Position Player: AK43

Li had turned a boat to best his opponent's straight and set himself up well for a double. That is exactly what happened after the 9 river completed the board to give Li a much needed boost late in the day.

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Yuval Bronshtein opened to 4,000 from the cutoff and was called by Felipe Ramos in the small blind.

Ramos checked to Bronshtein on the 9KA flop and then called after he bet 4,000.

Action checked through the 6 turn to the 10 river at which point both players checked once more. Ramos turned over AJ103, beating Bronshtein to the pot.

Wattel Doubles Through Abrams

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Mike Wattel three-bet to 7,000 and found a call from Scott Abrams while the rest of the table folded.

Wattel continued for 18,000 on the 84J flop, calling the rest of his stack once Abrams raised.

Mike Wattel: AA93
Scott Abrams: A982

Wattel's aces turned into top two pair on the J turn, improving to a full house on the A river while blocking Abrams' low draw to double up.

Vitch Sends Guagenti Packing

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Nick Guagenti limped from under the gun and then called after Chris Vitch raised to 7,000 from the cutoff.

Guagenti checked on a flop of 26K, prompting Vitch to continue for 7,000. That bet was called by Guagenti to send action to the turn.

The 5 turn saw Guagenti move all in and get snapped off by Vitch, who had the covering stack.

Nick Guagenti: XxXxXxXx
Chris Vitch: AKQ3

Unfortunately, Guageti's cards were mucked before they could be identified but regardless, his holding came up short against Vitch with the J river completing the board.

Obst Chips Up

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

James Obst opened to 4,000 from middle position and received a call from the big blind.

The big blind checked following the 34J flop and then called after Obst bet out 4,000.

Both players checked through the J turn to the Q river at which point action again went check-check. Obst turned over AKK5, good enough to take down the pot and keep the Australian pro chipping up.
