Awad Finds a River Bet, Opponent Finds a Fold

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 1,200 and got calls from Rami Awad to his direct left, a middle position player and the small blind leading to a 727 flop.

The small blind checked and the under-the-gun player continued with a bet of 1,800. Awad put in the call with everyone else folded to bring out a Q turn.

Action checked around and the dealer put the 10 out on the river.

The player under the gun checked to Awad who decided on tossing a bet of 8,200 into the middle. His opponent quickly mucked and Awad slid his cards to the dealer while collecting the pot.

On a flop of 264, Paul Spitzberg in early position, bet 2,400 and received one call, from the cutoff.

The turn came a 4 and Spitzberg fired again for 7,000, which was enough to get his opponent to give up the pot.

At a nearby table, players reported a remarkable comeback by Taehyung Kim, who was down to his last 300 at the start of the level and had spun it back to almost 40,000 in the past 40 minutes.

Kempton Benefits from Boat over Boat

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Isaac Kempton limped from early position only to see the cutoff raise to 700. Both the small blind and big blind called as did Kempton to bring out the 9710 flop.

Action checked to the cutoff, who tossed out a bet of 1,500. It was enough to get the blinds to fold but Kempton put in a call to see the 8 hit the turn.

Both players checked and watched as the dealer put the 9 out on the river.

Kempton decided to lead with a bet of 2,000 and faced a quick raise to 6,000 from the cutoff. Kempton paused for a brief moment and shuffled his chips as he thought before eventually putting in the call and watching his opponent turn over the AQ108 for eights full of tens.

Kempton then tabled his hand to show the KJ97 for a better full house. The dealer turned his opponents cards face down and pushed the pot in Kempton's direction.

Kirk Gets There on River Redraw

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Four players got all their chips in the middle on a flop that read Q810.

Small Blind: A4106
Middle Position: QQJ7
Tanya Kirk: 8877
Early Position: K1067

The player in middle position was ahead with her top set of queens, but there were plenty of cards she needed to dodge. Middle position had the nut flush draw, and early position had inferior spades. Kirk was stuck with bottom set, but when the 6 appeared on the turn she picked up additional outs with the only club draw. When the A fell on the river, she scooped a massive pot, collecting two bounties to boot.

Kabrhel: "Crazy gambler, yes?"

Niveau 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Under the gun raised to 400 and the early position player to his left called, as did a player in middle position player and the button, putting action on Martin Kabrhel in the big blind.

Kabrhel asked the dealer, "What can I raise for pot?"

The dealer counted it up, told Kabrhel 2500, which is what he then bet.

Under the gun quickly responded by re-potting for 8,800 which prompted the next player to act to go all in for 14,500 total.

Action folded to Kabrhel who made the call as did the player under the gun. The flop came 962.

Kabrhel checked and under the gun went all in for his remaining chips, which Kabrhel called, putting himself at risk of elimination.

Early Position: AK53
Martin Kabrhel: 10987
Under The Gun: AQQJ

The turn and river ran out 8 and J to give Kabrhel the winning straight and his first bounty of the day while leaving the Mr. Under the Gun still alive but with almost no chips early in the day.

As he stacked the ousted player's chips, he looked at his other opponent and asked, "What did he have again?"

After getting the answer, Kabrhel responded with a somewhat sarcastic, "Ah. Crazy gambler, yes?"

Taylor Controlling Her Table

Niveau 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Esther Taylor
Esther Taylor

Esther "ETAY" Taylor was seen dragging a massive pot against a player she declared was a "jabroni."

According to Taylor, she had top set and a wrap against his overcards with a nut flush draw. Her set of tens held to secure her a big double.

Shortly after, a player took his seat on Taylor's right when she joked, "We're straddling and double straddling, so if you're not down to do that I suggest you ask the floor for a table change." He was not dissuaded.
