Mastelotto was well ahead preflop with the dominating ace but Mroczkowski picked up a flush draw on the 5♦6♣3♦ flop. The flush came in on the 4♦ turn, leaving Mastelotto drawing dead. The J♠ river was inconsequential and Mroczkowski received a full double up with the nut-flush while Mastelotto was left with under ten big blinds.

According to the players at his former table, he got all of his chips in preflop with KxKx in a four-bet pot against Artem Metalidi, who had AxAx. Laak failed to catch a king and was eliminated from the tournament in brutal fashion while Artem Metalidi collected a massive pot.
