Darrick Arreola moved all in for 62,000 in the hijack and both the cutoff and Tim Faro on the button made the call.

The flop fanned out A♠10♠2♦ and the cutoff check-called a bet of 60,000 from Faro. On the 8♣ turn both players checked their options to the 7♥ river.

The cutoff checked a third time and Faro came with a size of 100,000. His opponent took a few seconds, but in the end made the fold and the cards were shown for the main pot.

Faro rolled over A♦K♠ for top pair and Arreola tabled K♣K♥ as he made his way to the payout desk.

After a while, Anderson made the call and showed Q♥7♥. However, his trips could not beat the full house of Vitch, who played 3♥3♠. Payouts were called for Anderson while Vitch is playing more than double the average stack.

On a flop of K♥4♦3♥, Awad check-raised from 35,000 to 120,000 and Seymour reluctantly called. Both checked the K♦ turn and the Q♥ river went check, check.

Awad announced a queen and received more than just a raised eyebrow by Seymour, who said "you can play in my home game".

Lazaro Makes Sturm Fold On The River

In a blind versus blind situation, Leon Sturm in the small blind opened to 40,000, and was called by Rene Lazaro in the big blind.

On J♠2♦6♣, Sturm continued for 23,000 chips. Lazaro then raised, betting 60,000. Sturm eventually made the call.

The 9♣ came on the turn, but brought no more action. Then the J♦ landed on the river. Sturm checked once more, and Lazaro bet 130,000. After a few seconds, Sturm folded and let the pot to Lazaro.

Picking up the action on the river, Eric Salazar in the small blind was involved in a hand with a player in the big blind. With the board reading 9♥4♠2♠7♠2♦ and a sizable pot already in the middle, Salazar led out for almost his entire stack, leaving himself just 60,000 behind. The big blind thought for quite some time before deciding to force Salazar all in. Salazar instantly called and turned over 7♣7♥ for the full house, downing his opponent's flush with J♠10♠.

Andrew Wu limped in with the K♦J♠ and Shota Nakanishi raised to 52,000 with just the K♣ showing. Sebastin Kolman called out of the small blind with the Q♦10♦ and Richard Seymour in the big blind then squeezed to 237,000 with the A♣K♥.

Wu opted to fold, sending Nakanishi into the tank after. The Japanese folded and Kolman followed suit.

One of the most heartwarming storylines of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) emerged today as the father-daughter duo of Amanda Botfeld and David Botfeld made the money of the $10,000 WSOP Main Event World Championship.

Amanda Botfeld, a poker writer and author of 2020's A Girl's Guide to Poker, announced on Twitter that she and her dad had made it to the money in poker's most prestigious event. The tweet included a photo of the two locked in a loving embrace, no doubt happy to have secured a payday of at least $15,000.

The poker author's tweet came shortly after the trio of Yue Qi Wang, Peter Nigh, and Jeppe Bisgaard were all eliminated on the Main Event money bubble.

The player at risk had the dominated hand and couldn't find any help on the 2♥ turn and K♥ river to make his way to the payout desk while Park added another pot to his stack.
