Action folded to the blinds, and a player in the small blind raised to 1,500 before meeting resistance from David Pham, who was in the big blind and elected to defend.

The dealer fanned 279 on the flop, which the player in the small blind checked. Pham, also known as "The Dragon," bet 1,700, which his opponent quickly called.

The 9 appeared on the turn, pairing the board. After a check from the small blind, Pham bet 2,000, which his opponent called.

The dealer then placed 8 on the river, which once again saw the player in the small blind check.

Pham sized up and put out a 7,200 bet, which forced his opponent to fold.
