Action folded to the blinds, and a player in the small blind raised to 1,500 before meeting resistance from David Pham, who was in the big blind and elected to defend.

The dealer fanned 2♠7♥9♣ on the flop, which the player in the small blind checked. Pham, also known as "The Dragon," bet 1,700, which his opponent quickly called.

The 9♠ appeared on the turn, pairing the board. After a check from the small blind, Pham bet 2,000, which his opponent called.

The dealer then placed 8♥ on the river, which once again saw the player in the small blind check.

Pham sized up and put out a 7,200 bet, which forced his opponent to fold.
