Kabrhel's River Bet Takes it Down

Niveau 18 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and Jonathan Jaffe defended in the big blind.

The flop came 944, and Jaffe check-raised to 300,000 over Kabrhel's bet of 100,000. Kabrhel called.

The turn landed the 7, and Jaffe bet 600,000. Kabrhel called again.

The river brought the K, and Jaffe checked. Kabrhel bet 1,200,000 and Jaffe tossed his cards into the muck.

Klein Doubles Through Mateos

Niveau 18 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Morten Klein moved all in on the button for 540,000 and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind.

Morten Klein: K7 All in
Adrian Mateos: 22

Mateos was ahead and remained so on the QA6 flop and Q turn. The A river, however, counterfeited the Spaniard's pocket pair to hand Klein a full double.

Buffer Gets a Shove Through; Promises to Announce the Start of Day 3

Bruce Buffer
Bruce Buffer

Martin Kabrhel opened to 205,000 and Bruce Buffer shoved all in from the small blind. When it got back to Kabrhel, he had a decision.

"I don't want to bust you because I like you," joked Kabrhel.

"If you want to dance, I'm ready to dance," replied Buffer.

Eventually, Kabrhel folded and flashed an ace to the table. Buffer tabled pocket kings as he raked in the pot.

Buffer has promised to announce the start of Day 3 should he make it.

Jaffe Flops a Set to Double Through Sternheimer

Niveau 17 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 175,000 from under the gun and Philip Sternheimer three-bet shoved for over 3,000,000 from the small blind. Once the big blind folded, Jaffe called for his stack of 2,485,000.

Jonathan Jaffe: JJ All in
Philip Sternheimer: AK

Both caught a piece of the JA7 flop but it was Jaffe's set of jacks that was way in the lead. The 6 turn meant Sternheimer was drawing dead, and the inconsequential 4 filled out the board.

Jesse Lonis opened to 175,000 from middle position before Viktor Blom three-bet to 525,000 in the cutoff. Artur Martirosian then moved all in for around 4,900,000 out of the big blind, getting a quick fold from Lonis. Blom, however, called just as quickly to put himself at risk.

Artur Martirosian: AK

Martirosian was on the wrong end of a preflop cooler and could not mount a comeback on the 75587 runout to see his stack take a huge hit while vaulting Blom up the leaderboard.
