Jun Obara opened from early position to 12,000 and Huihan Wu three-bet out of the big blind, which Obara called.

On the J♦6♥7♥ flop, Wu led out for 8,000, and Obara made it 49,000. After some thinking, Wu called.

Wu checked the 3♣ turn and Obara counted out a bet of 93,000 and dropped it into the pot. Wu then went into deep thought for around three minutes before finally laying it down.

"I made a big laydown for you," remarked Wu. Obara had his earphones in and didn't hear a word Wu said as he raked in the pot which boosted his stack over 500,000.

The early-position player continued for 10,000 on 6♠8♥K♠. Castaignon check-called, then led out for 31,000 on the 4♠ turn.

His opponent went into the tank but eventually folded.

A 3♠ completed the board and Richards made another bet of 18,000. Reixach was the only player to make the call.

"King-eight," announced Richards as he flipped over K♠8♠ for a pair of eights.

Reixach responded by tabling 9♦9♠ for a pair of nines, and he was awarded the pot.
