On a completed board of K♦Q♦10♥8♦4♣, Noah Bronstein in the small blind made it 26,000 to go. Jon Borenstein in the big blind tank-called and was shown the A♦J♠4♦2♥ for the nuts by Bronstein. Down to around 6,000, Borenstein was eliminated shortly after to cut his massage and tournament life short.
Giuseppe Pantaleo bet the K♦9♥6♥5♦10♠ river for 18,000 in the cutoff and Jeremy Druckman in the small blind pondered about the decision for a minute. Druckman made the call to get shown A♥Q♠7♣5♥ for a pair of fives and missed straight as well as flush draw by Pantaleo.
Druckman had that beat with the Q♣10♥10♣7♠ for a set of tens with one nut straight blocker.
Three-way action in a three-bet pot turned heads up after Thomas Taylor called a bet of 9,000 in the cutoff on the 8♦9♣7♠ flop.
Both players checked the A♥ turn before the dealer turned over the 2♦ river.
Action was checked again to Taylor, who slid out a bet of 12,000. After a few moments, the call was made.
"Straight," said Taylor, tabling A♦K♦6♦5♠ to take down the pot as his opponent mucked.
Four ways to the 10♣3♥2♥2♠ turn, Thomas Osmun bet 4,500 when checked to and table big stack Tim Grau raised to 15,000. JC Tran and Alex Rocha folded while Osmun called. They checked the A♣ river and Grau announced a ten.
Osmun showed his Q♣Q♦9♠2♦ and won the pot with trips deuces.
Heads-up to the 8♥4♦3♦A♥ turn, Aleksejs Ponakovs checked and then called a bet worth 2,500 by Vivian Saliba. They checked the 10♦ river and Ponakovs declared "I win" before showing his 8♠5♣3♥2♣ for a wheel. Saliba, however, had that beat with the J♥7♠7♦2♥ for a flush.
"That will teach him," Justin Young joked.
"It is his first time playing Omaha," Justin Saliba added.
