Jouhkimainen Chips Up With a Full House

Niveau 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Following a raise to 2,500, three players called. The action checked all the way to the J9832 river on which Joni Jouhkimainen as the last player to act bet 4,000. Three folds later, the Finn won the pot.

Jouhkimainen was then the only caller of a raise to 2,500 while in the hijack. On the 1033 flop, both players checked. After the 4 turn, the preflop raiser made it 4,000 to go and Jouhkimainen raised to 14,000. A reluctant call by his opponent led to the J river on which Jouhkimainen's bet of 35,000 was eventually paid off.

Jouhkimainen flipped over K944 for a full house and scooped a far bigger pot this time.

Two Redraws Miss as Prociak and Blom Chop

Niveau 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Prociak
David Prociak

Viktor Blom raised and was only called by David Prociak in the big blind. They headed to the AK6 flop on which Prociak check-called for 2,500. He then checked the 10 turn and Blom bet 12,500. Prociak potted and called all-in when Blom went over the top.

David Prociak: QQJ8 All in
Viktor Blom: AQJ6

Both held broadway and Prociak had the flush draw on top while Blom could improve to a full house with an ace or six. The river was a blank 9 and they chopped.

"Well, that was lame ... but a really cool turn card," another player at the table remarked.

Three ways to the K523 turn, Xixiang Luo bet 3,000 out of the small blind and earned calls from the big blind as well as the cutoff. On the Q river, Luo bet another 5,400 and this time received just one call.

Luo tabled the AK86 for the nut flush and his table neighbour mucked the K102 for flopped two pair and an inferior flush.

Glazer Gets it Through

Niveau 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Four-way action through the 1094 flop saw Jordan Glazer and Viktor Blom check from the blinds. Two more players checked, including David Prociak in the cutoff.

Another round of checks followed the 3 turn before Glazer led out for 5,000 on the 2 river. That was enough to take down the pot, as all three opponents mucked.

Lisawad Among the Big Stacks

Niveau 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Benjamin Primus raised to 2,500 and earned three callers. They checked it down all the way to the K95J4 river on which Pakinai Lisawad declared "I have a straight" while actually showing 53 for a flush. Primus had that beat with the AA82 for the superior flush.

"I deserved that one," Lisawad said and received a sarcastic "I feel for you" from the other side of the table. Lisawad has four times the starting stack and sits among the chip leaders despite not winning this pot.
