Elias Finds Another Double

Darren Elias, David Stamm, and Shaun Deeb were three-way to the draw in a pot of 22,000 chips. Elias drew one under the gun, Stamm drew two in the hijack, and Deeb took one on the button.

Elias then jammed all in for 12,700 chips, getting a fold from Stamm. Deeb, on the other hand, snap-called and tabled 9x6x5x4x2x.

His nine-low was no good, however, as Elias showed down 8x7x6x5x3x for an eight, and the large pot was shipped his way.

Meanwhile, Naoya Kihara sat down at another able as the 61st entry.

Shaun Deeb opened to 1,300 from the hijack, before being three-bet by a player in the cutoff. Darren Elias then four-bet all in for 9,200. Deeb folded and the player in the cutoff made the call, to put Elias at risk.

Elias stayed pat, while his opponent drew one card, and the players showed down.

Elias's opponent drew a pair of sixes, and Elias' nine-eight was good enough to secure the double up.

Kyablue Catches Daring Bluff

Xavier Kyablue had raised from middle position and Stuart Rutter had called in the cutoff. They were then three-bet by the player on the button to 4,500. Kyablue made the call and Rutter got out of the way.

Both players drew one, after which Kyablue led out for 10,000 chips. The button raised to 30,000, sending Kyablue into a tank of several minutes.

Eventually, he tossed in a call, after which the button instantly flung his cards into the muck. Kyablue could only laugh in relief as he raked in the large pot to get above the six-figure mark.

Belluscio Folds Number Four

The player on the button raised to 1,200, Julio Belluscio called in the small blind and Joseph Tauber came along in the big blind.

Belluscio drew two cards, Tauber drew one, and the button stood pat. Belluscio checked and Tauber made a bet of 3,000.

The player on the button then folded before Belluscio put in a raise to 18,000. Tauber announced "raise" and tossed in some chips, after which he was required to make the minimum raise to 31,000.

Belluscio hit the tank, and eventually, he sighed as he folded his 7x6x5x4x2x face up.

"That's the sickest shit I've ever seen," a bewildered tablemate Robert Mizrachi stated as the pot was shipped Tauber's way.

He then asked Tauber if it was the correct fold, to which Tauber answered affirmatively.

Betil Picks Off Anderson's Bluff

Edward Jordan raised to 2,000 from the cutoff and was called by Bariscan Betil on the button, and Calvin Anderson in the big blind.

Jordan and Betil drew one, while Anderson drew two cards.

Anderson and Jordan checked to Betil who bet out 4,000. Anderson then raised to 22,000, which Jordan then folded. Betil gave it a quick thought before putting in chips to call.

Anderson tabled 6♠5♦4♦3♣2♦ for a straight, and Betil showed 8♥7♦6♥4♠3♠ to take down the pot.

Patrick Stacey raised to 1,400 in the cutoff before Dario Alioto three-bet to 3,700 on the button. Xixiang Luo then tossed in his entire stack of 16,600 from the small blind and Stacey called.

Alioto spent some time in the tank before folding, after which Luo drew one and Stacey stood pat.

Upon seeing Stacey's cards, Alioto gave himself a literal pat on the back. Luo, meanwhile, peeled a Qx to be eliminated from the tournament.
