Volpe Eliminates Anderson in Huge Pot

Paul Volpe had three-bet to 17,000 on the button before big blind Calvin Anderson jammed all in for 63,500. Volpe tanked for a while before making the call with the covering stack,

Anderson stood pat and Volpe drew one card.

Volpe slowly squeezed a 2x to send Anderson to the reentry desk as he sat back down with a fresh stack not much later.

Seiver Gets the Better of Tang

Scott Seiver raised to 3,000, and when action folded to Danny Tang in the small blind, he three-bet to 9,500. After the big blind folded, Seiver made the call.

Tang stood pat while Seiver drew one card.

After Tang checked to Seiver, he bet 15,000. Tang quickly announced he was not going to be raising while he thought over his decision. He eventually found a call, and Seiver showed him 9x8x7x3x2x. Tang tabled 9x8x7x5x2x but it was not enough to beat Seiver's hand.

Funkhouser Exits as Kihara Plays Huge Stack

David Funkhouser had gone all in for his final few chips and was called by Naoya Kihara and Motoyoshi Okamura, who were playing for a side pot.

Okamura checked after the draws and Kihara bet 6,000. Okamura called and all three hands were tabled.

Kihara showed 9x9x8x5xXx for a pair of nines, and Okamura tabled Qx10x9x4x3x to win the side pot.

Funkhouser had the worst hand with 7x6x6x3x3x and took his leave.
