Ausmus Coolers Kihara, Leaves Him Short

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus raised under the gun and Naoya Kihara defended his big blind, after which they both took one card.

Kihara checked to Ausmus, who made a big bet of 250,000.

"Just call," said Kihara as he turned over 8x7x5x3x2x for an eight-seven. Ausmus had made number two, however, and his 7x6x4x3x2x won him a sizable pot.

"He's been taking number twos on everyone this summer," Scott Seiver joked.

"Accurate," Ausmus replied dryly.

Picking up the action after the flop in a modest pot of just over 100,000 chips, Aaron Kupin checked from the big blind to David Lin under the gun. Lin then bet a massive 310,000 chips, sending Kupin in the tank.

"I'm pretty high up [in my range]," Kupin argued before he slid in a call after some time.

Lin showed 9x7x6x5x4x for a nine-seven. "I almost folded," said Kupin, who claimed to have mucked a nine-eight.
