Timothy Wong raised from the hijack and Yuri Dzivielevski, who started the hand with 10,100, three-bet from the small blind and was all in. John Torrez called in the big blind and Wong called.

Both Wong and Torrez checked the flop, turn and river on the 6♦3♠8♣4♠J♦ runout. Torrez showed 6♥3♦2♦2♥ for two pair but Dvivielevski had a higher two pair with J♣10♥4♥3♣. Wong had the low with A♠A♦9♥7♦ and split the pot with Dzivielevski.

Just 103 players remain from a field of 494 entrants going into Day 2 of Event #83: $1,500 Eight Game Mix (6-handed) here at the 2024 World Series of Poker hosted at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Two-time bracelet winner Marco Johnson currently stands atop the counts with a stack of 325,300 and is most closely followed by online legend Viktor Blom, who bagged 296,600.

Out of all the big names to have advanced from yesterday's Day 1 flight, none have enjoyed a more successful WSOP than Scott Seiver, who has already captured three WSOP bracelets this summer. Seiver is the first person to win three bracelets at a single WSOP since Jeff Lisandro in 2009. Today, he enters Day 2 of this event with a top five stack and will be a force to be reckoned with as he aims to become the first person ever to win four bracelets at a single WSOP.

Other notables to bag big on Day 1 include Qiang Xu (251,800), Kenny Hsiung (201,500) and Jared Bleznick (168,300). Further down the leaderboard is John Cernuto (145,200), Dylan Weisman (118,300), John Racener (103,100), Josh Arieh (93,500), Maxx Coleman (57,100) and Jeff Madsen (52,800).

Players will resume somewhat close to the money bubble, with 75 of the 103 remaining players set to receive at least a min-cash of $3,000. The plan is to play ten hour-long levels, with a 15 minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 21 at approximately 6:30 p.m.
