Rick Marting Eliminates Two Ladies

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Rick Marting opened from middle position to 1,000. The player in the small blind moved all in for her remaining 2,200 chips and the woman next to her in the big blind called. Marting also called, setting up a potential side pot with the big blind.

The flop came {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and again the Marting's opponent checked. This time Marting put a bet out of 2,200. His opponent moved all in for 4,900 and Marting called.

Marting: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Big blind: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Small blind: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Marting had both of his opponent in a dominating position. The {3-Diamonds} on the river sealed the deal and Marting scooped a large pot while eliminating two of the ladies at the table.

Godfrey Ahana Backs Into It

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Godfrey Ahana raised to 1,000 from early position, and the player in the cutoff shoved for his remaining 2,600. Ahana called.

Ahana tabled {j-Spades}{10-Spades} and his opponent showed {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a flip.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and Ahana still needed to hit one of his two overcards to improve.

The turn was the {q-Spades}, giving Ahana flush and straight draws. The river was the {3-Spades} and Ahana backed into a flush to score the elimination and take his chips to just over double the starting stack.

Molly Mossey was grinding a short stack before the break, and explained how she found a double-up a few hands ago.

The player under the gun raised to 700, and Mossey moved all in for 1,800 in the big blind. The initial raiser called.

Mossey tabled {A-}{4-} while her opponent held {A-}{10-}. Mossey outflopped her opponent by pairing her four, and made aces up on the turn for good measure. She now sits just below the starting stack.
