Hallaert Takes From Perry

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Ralph Perry was under the gun and raised to 65,000. Kenny Hallaert was in late position and decided to call.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and both players checked to the turn, which was the {4-Clubs}. Perry led out for 75,000 and Hallaert paused for a moment before deciding to call.

The river was the {a-Diamonds}. Perry reached into his stack and fired out a bet worth 225,000. Hallaert wasted no time and launched a small stack of chips in the middle, indicating a call.

Perry tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for queen high, and Hallaert revealed {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of aces, sending the pot his way.

Chen Yu Hung Vaults over Three-Million Hurdle

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Chen Yu Hung held {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades} but he didn't have an easy call to make. After raising to 65,000, Hung faced a huge three-bet all-in from Yossi Krispin who pushed his 815,000.

Hung eventually called and when he saw his opponents {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, he showed a temporary relief. But it wasn't over just yet and Hung realized that soon, calling his "one time" before the {J-}{X-}{X-} flop has been dealt.

He followed it with a "Yes!" when the {K-} hit the turn, but the win could still slip through his hands as Krispin hoped for a ten to make a Broadway straight. A devastating change of events didn't happen, though, as the river brought a blank card.

That major victory strengthened Hung's stack tremendously as he's now playing 3,300,000.

Boyko's Big Slick Beats a Set of Queens

Niveau 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

A race between ace-king and queens is an evergreen in a tournament of MILLIONAIRE MAKER parameters. With 7,761 players in the field and countless tables in play, the classic race emerges all the time.

However, this clash evolves into something much bigger when the massive tournament squeezes to just last six tables full of hopefuls who are getting closer to the whopping seven-figure prize at the top. The dollar equity of these races grows rapidly, and the lucky winner is likely to earn tens of thousands more.

The latest player on the lucky side of the ever-popular coin flip was Yuriy Boyko, who three-bet shoved from the button over Aaron Johnson's shove from the cutoff.

Aaron Johnson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Yuriy Boyko: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

Entertaining itself, the hand gained even spicier taste when the {J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades} hit the felt. Johnson flopped the top set but Boyko was more than alive, drawing to a royal flush, knocking on the poker gods' doors.

Boyko didn't get the royal, but he got everything else. The {10-Hearts} turn brought him the Broadway straight, pushing him to the lead. The {9-Spades} river even improved his hand to the nut-flush. Importantly so, without pairing the board.

Johnson shipped 595,000 to Boyko when the encounter had come to a close.
