Jon Turner opened with a raise to 1,500. Next to act was Christopher George and he raised to 4,000. Action folded back to Turner and he called the raise.
Both players took one then Turner bet out 7,000. George sweated his cards, thought for a moment, then folded 
face up. Turner was awarded the pot.
Mike Gorodinsky raised to 1,200 and Usman Siddique called in the small blind and Steve Gee came along from the big blind. Siddique and Gee both drew one card while Gorodinsky stood pat. The action checked to Gorodinsky and his bet of 3,200 forced two folds.
With the addition of Siddique and a few other new faces, the tournament screens now show a total of 34 entries.
With around 10,000 left, Alexander Schwartz raised to 1,100, and Adam Owen three-bet to 3,700 on the button. Schwartz called and drew one card while Owen stood pat. Owen showed a 
and Schwartz mucked to remain with an even shorter stack.
The player to have profited the most on that table thus far is Galen Hall.
Jason Mercier opened with a raise to 1,100. Next to act was Marvin Karlins. He raised to 3,000. Darren Elias called from the big blind. Action was back to Mercier and he folded.
Both Elias and Karlins took one card. Karlins checked in the dark. Elias looked at his card, then bet 4,000. Karlins took a look at his draw, then called.
"I have a ten-eight," Karlins said. Elias pitched his cards in, but Karlins turned up 
for a pair of sixes, not a ten-eight.
Elias then retrieved his hand. He showed , then kicked his hand back into the muck, showing that he was beat either way.
"That's why I turned my hand up," Karlins said. "I've got bad eyes. I really did think I had a ten-eight."
Karlins was pushed the pot and the rest of the table just laughed.

The draw was already complete and a big pot emerged with Ned Price and Jared Bleznick involved. The former check-called a bet of 8,000 and Bleznick showed a pair, while Price revealed an eight-six perfect. Price has been running well early on and joined the top stacks, while Alan Schein at the same table is among the shorter stacks.
Majid Yahyaei had been dominating the action soon after sitting down and took off Mike Wattel. Max Kruse sat down at the very same table just now and was in the small blind in one of his first hands. Yahyaei raised to 1,100 on the button and just Kruse called.
Kruse took two cards while Yahyaei drew one. Kruse check-called a bet worth 2,500 and Yahyaei showed a nine-high straight. Kruse had that beat with 
and claimed the pot.
Freshly-made three-time bracelet winner Frank Kassela has given himself a small boost after a recent hand.
Kassela three-bet an open to 3,700 and patted a jack-seven. His opponent called and mucked after they both checked it down.
John Monnette raised to 1,000. Next to act was James Chen and he made it 3,400. Action folded back to Monnette and he called.
Monnette stood pat while Chen took one. Chen then sweated his card, looked at his stack, and put out a bet of 6,500. Monnette thought for a moment then folded his hand.
