Everybody Loves a Chopped Pot!

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

The player under the gun opened to 275. Maria Konnikova called from the hijack as did the player on the button.

The dealer spread the {q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. The player under the gun bet 350 and Konnikova called. The button folded. The dealer burned and turned the {q-Clubs} and the player under the gun bet 500. Konnikova called again.

The river was the {j-Clubs}, and this time the under-the-gun player bet 1,000. Konnikova called again.

The initial aggressor tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Konnikova showed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for the chop.

2015 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe McKeehen Takes His Seat

Niveau 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

While earning an elusive World Series of Poker bracelet is at the top every poker player's list of career goals, the biggest dream of all is to win the Main Event.

Joe McKeehen — part of today's field — did just that in 2015 for a whopping $7,683,346, and already has an impressive career to go with that bracelet win.

Although his Main Event score was huge, it still made up a little more than half of his career earnings, which McKeehen has built up to a total of $13,287,067 so far. Since his impressive performance in 2015, he has won the $25,000 Bay 101 High Roller ($156,966), a $2,200 event at Seminole Hard Rock ($104,608), a $1,500 Wynn Fall Classic event ($90,125) and a $1,200 event at Parx ($106,126). In addition to this, he has final-tabled a ton of high roller events throughout the poker circuit for impressive scores.

Look for McKeehen to continue to put his head down and go to work as he tries to collect more hardware to add to his already-impressive poker résumé.
