Salvatore Dicarlo Busts Ari Engel

Niveau 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

After losing a big pot, Ari Engel was down to 3,800 before he got involved in a hand with Salvatore Dicarlo.

A player in early position made it 250. Engel called and Dicarlo raised it to 1,000. The original raiser let it go, but Engel responded by moving all in. Dicarlo called.

Ari Engel: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Salvatore Dicarlo: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The dealer swept out a {K-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop followed by a {7-Spades} turn, keeping Ari Engel's tens ahead. However, the {2-Spades} completed the board, giving Salvatore a flush to eliminate Engel.

Matt Waxman Loses an Early Flip

Niveau 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

Action folded around to Matt Waxman on the button, and he raised it up to 400. Paul Snead was in the big blind and three-bet to 1,500. Waxman asked how much he had behind, and Snead confirmed he had about 7,200. Waxman moved all in and Snead called.

Snead was at risk with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Waxman tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a coin flip.

"Good luck", said Waxman. The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}, keeping Waxman ahead with two sixes and a straight draw. The turn, however, was the {k-Diamonds} and Snead took the lead with a pair of kings. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Snead held on to double up, leaving Waxman with a very short stack.

Big Blind Special For David Maurer

Niveau 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

The player under the gun raised to 350, and got calls from Paul Snead on the button and David Maurer in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, and Maurer checked. The initial raiser bet 550 and Snead and Maurer both called. The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and all three players checked to the river, which was the {6-Clubs}. Maurer led out for 1,000 and both the under-the-gun player and Snead called.

"Is the action on me?" asked Maurer. The dealer said yes, and he tabled {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a flush. His two opponents mucked their cards and Maurer raked in the pot.

Maurer has built up a healthy stack so far, sitting on 33,000 already.
