We didn't catch the action until the river but Martin Jacobson checked a board and Ankush Mandavia moved all in. Jacobson snap-called and tabled . Mandavia revealed and his cards went into the muck.
Jacobson's all-in was for 35,900 and, after that pot, was sitting back around 127,000.
Matthew Parry min-raised from under the gun and Adam Owen jammed from the small blind. Parry called to put Owen at risk and the two players tabled their hands.
Parry:
Owen:
Owen was in bad shape and needed help from the deck in order to double up. The flop kept Parry in front, but Owen spiked a set on the turn to take the lead. The river meant Owen would scoop the pot with sixes full of kings to double up.
On the river of a board, Faraz Jake fired a bet of 69,000 into what looked to be about 100,000 pot. Jaka was heads up with Matthew Leecy and Leecy was in the tank.
Several minutes went by and, eventually, Leecy asked for the clock. The floor gave him 30 seconds to act and, as the clock struck three seconds left, Leecy announced "call."
Jaka tabled for a rivered full house and Leecy mucked.
With about 12,000 chips already in the middle and the board reading , Doug Polk bet 6,200 from under the gun and James Lex raised to 20,000 from the cutoff. Polk jammed and Lex quickly called to put himself at risk.
Polk:
Lex:
Polk had flopped the nut straight and Lex was trailing with one pair and a gutshot to the chop. The on the turn was no help to Lex and the river ensured that Polk would scoop the pot to eliminate his opponent.
Fabian Quoss and John Racener got all the chips in the middle before the flop and Racener had the larger of the two stacks.
Quoss:
Racener:
Racener had a commanding lead preflop, and it was solidified when the flop fell to give him top two pairs and leaving Quoss drawing thin. The turn and river changed nothing and Racener took the pot to eliminate Quoss.
