Welcome to Event #52: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em

The 2017 World Series of Poker marches forward, and today another new event begins — Event #52: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

Last year’s champion in this event was David Peters from the United States. After getting so close so many times, Peters finally picked up his first WSOP gold bracelet and earned $412,557 for outlasting a field of 1,860 entrants. Peters has 44 WSOP cashes overall and $1,811,802 in WSOP earnings. He also already has three cashes this summer.

This is a three-day event. Day 1 will begin at 11 a.m. with play scheduled to last 10 levels. The $1,500 buy-in will get players 7,500 chips to try to run up. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels and a 90-minute dinner break after Level 6. Late registration is expected to close after six levels, around 7.30 p.m.
