Lamb Tries to Pick on the Big Blind

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded to Ben Lamb, on the button, who raised to 140,000. Kfir Nahum called from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Nahum checked to Lamb, who continued for 240,000. Nahum check-raised to 500,000, and Lamb called. Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} on the turn, and the {4-Clubs} fell on the river. Nahum checked again, and Lamb bet 265,000. Nahum instantly tossed in a chip to call and tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for the best hand.

Dedusha Shoves over Dhaliwal's Flop Bet

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

There was over 700,000 in the pot on a {2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, and Paul Dhaliwal was the first player to act. He slid out a bet of 525,000, leaving himself with about 1,475,000 behind. Dedusha thought for a long time before he announced he was all in, pushing forward a few of his stacks.

Dhaliwal thought for about 15 seconds, then released his hand, awarding Dedusha the big pot with no showdown.

"Show Me a Winner"

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Ihar Soika opened under the gun, and John Hesp called from the small blind. Both players checked the {9-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop, and the {3-Clubs} hit the turn. Hesp checked again, and Soika bet 240,000. Hesp check-raised to 700,000, and Soika called.

The {8-Spades} completed the board, and Hesp bet 500,000. Soika tanked for at least five minutes and eventually, reluctantly, called.

"Two pair," Hesp said.

"Show me a winner," the dealer replied.

Hesp tabled {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Soika mucked.

Blanco Flushes Lee

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Spades} flop with more than 1.1 million in the pot already, Gyeong Byeong Lee bet 300,000, and Jesus Blanco raised to 850,000 from one seat over. Lee took some time before calling, then checked the {A-Hearts} river. Blanco checked behind, and Lee turned over {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a straight.

Blanco also had a queen-jack. However, it was {Q-Spades}{J-Spades} for a flush, and that awarded the pot to the Spaniard.

Justas Vaiciulionis and Zu Zhou Play a Monster

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

With about 1,100,000 in the pot on a board reading {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, Zu Zhou checked from the big blind. Justas Vaiciulionis was on the button and bet 550,000. Zhou went into the tank for about a minute and called. The river was the {2-Hearts}. Zhou paused and then checked again. Vaiciulionis remained still for about thirty seconds and slowly cut out chips before betting 1,500,000. Zhou went back into the tank and thought for three minutes before calling.

Vaiciulionis triumphantly tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nuts, and Zhou tossed his cards into the muck.

Vaiciulionis has now built his stack up to 7,200,000.

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, and Ghaneian hit a queen on the flop to take the lead. The turn was the {2-Spades}, and the river brought the {4-Spades}, improving his hand to a straight.

Matt Bond raised to 130,000 from under the gun.

"It's my tiiiime, it's now or never," sang Dario Sammartino, incorrectly reciting the lyrics to Bon Jovi's 2000 single It's My Life.

It folded back to Bond, who called.

Sammartino: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Bond: {q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

"Jack," said tablemate Kenny Hallaert.

The turn was a {j-Hearts}. The river was the {a-Hearts}, and Sammartino doubled up.

"First one," said Sammartino, "Then another one and another one!"

Lafleur Joins the Rail

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Sammy Lafleur moved all in for just under one million in chips, and the action folded to Renato Prado Valentim in the big blind, who called.

Sammy Lafleur: {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Renato Prado Valentim: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Lafleur seemed poised for a comeback after improving to trip kings on the {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, but that soon vanished when the {10-Spades} appeared on the turn. The blank {9-Diamonds} on the river sealed Lafleur's fate, and he was eliminated.

"Would you have called if I shove?" Joseph Michael, in the small blind, asked while Valentim raked in the pot, and he nodded back to Michael.
