Une finale de 89 mains, dont 50 de head's up, ont suffi à Martin Kabrhel pour s'imposer à domicile sur l'Event #3 No-Limit Holdem Turbo Bounty Hunter disputé jeudi au King's Casino de Rozvadov. Le Tchèque encaisse 53 557€ et un bracelet World Series Of Poker.

"Je suis content de gagner ici ce festival était un objectif. [...] C'est une super salle de poker, je joue ici 90% du temps et j'ai déjà gagné deux bagues WSOP Circuit au King's", explique celui qui désormais "attend avec impatience le Main Event et le One Drop (un High Roller à 111 111€, ndlr)". Runner-up du tournoi, l'Allemand Caranica a empoché 33,094€ sous les yeux de son compatriote Nico Ehlers, deuxième quelques heures plus tôt de l'Event #2 550€ Pot-Limit Omaha Event #2.

Disputé sur des niveaux de 20 minutes, le tournoi a rassemblé 325 entrants qui ont généré un prizepool de 214 337€. 49 joueurs ont atteint l'argent parmi lesquels Chris Ferguson et Phil Hellmuth (11e).

Les Canadiens Mike Leah (10e) et Kristen Bicknell, le Gallois Roberto Romanello, l'Italien Carlo Savinelli, l'Américain Brandon Cantu, le Team Pro PokerStars Felipe Ramos ou l'Irlandais Marc MacDonnellont rejoint le rail avant les demi-finales, moment choisi par Kabrhel pour craquer les Rois avec {a-}{k-} pour s'installer parmi les gros tapis.

Un seul tricolore a atteint les places payées, le Français Romain Follet termine 15e pour un gain de 2,072€. Le 15e bracelet WSOP de Phil Hellmuth attendra lui aussi, son compatriote John Racener l'ayant éconduit en 11e position. L'Américain, runner-up du Main Event WSOP 2010 et détenteur d'un bracelet, reste toujours en course pour le prix de meilleur joueur des WSOP 2017.

Après un début de finale où il a été attrapé en bluff,Martin Kabrhel a ensuite éliminé ses six derniers adversaires pour remporter son succès le plus prestigieux. Une journée menée tambour battant.

The turn brought the {9-Spades}, Kabrhel now had the eights as extra outs to be crowned the winner as there was now also a straight draw. The {8-Hearts} on the river was exactly that what Kabrhel needed and he hit his backdoor straight draw. Caranica was eliminated and the last bounty went to Kabrhel.
