Straight for van Wesemael

Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

After a limp from early position and a raise to 700 from middle position, Sander van Wesemael three-bet to 1,900 on the button. He was called by the initial raiser and the two players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The action was checked to van Wesemael who continued for 2,400. His opponent called and the {j-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked to the {j-Clubs} on the turn and the player in middle position checked again. Van Wesemael reluctantly knuckled the table and his opponent turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Van Wesemael tabled {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight, but couldn't find the courage to bet it.

Tsirakidis Pushing His Opponents Around

Niveau 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

After doubling up with quads earlier in the day, Konstantinos Tsirakidis has been steadily building a healthy chips stack. With around 2,000 in the pot, the flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} and a player in early position led out for 1,300. Tsirakidis called from the hijack position and the two players went heads-up to the {8-Spades} on the turn.

The player in early position fired another 3,000, leaving himself with just 3,500 chips behind. Tsirakidis announced all-in and forced his opponent to muck his cards. Tsirakidis raked in another pot and appears to hold the early chip lead.

Ho's Ladies are No Good

Niveau 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

In a three-way pot with around 1,800 in the middle preflop, the dealer fanned the flop of {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Mario Scholz led out for 1,200 from the big blind and Ting Ho raised to 3,700 from under the gun. The cutoff folded and Scholz called.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Scholz checked to Ho who bet 3,500. Scholz check-raised all-in and Ho called for her last 7,000 chips. Scholz tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a full house while Ho held {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The river was the {10-Hearts} and Ho was eliminated on her first bullet of the day.
