Romain Lewis en finale du Pot Limit Omaha

Niveau 27 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Norbert Burkhard
Norbert Burkhard

Sebastian Obermeier raised it up to 150,000 on the button and was called by Norbert Burkhard in the big blind. The flop came the {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Burkhard checked, Obermeier bet 150,000 and an instant all in for around 600,000 followed. Obermeier called and Hanh Tran immediately predicted a set-over-set scenario.

Norbert Burkhard: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Sebastian Obermeier: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

Burkhard was in dire shape and found no miracle on the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river, bowing out in 9th place for €3,991. The remaining eight players are now bagging up for the evening and will return tomorrow at 3 p.m. local time to play down to a champion.

Christopher Back: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Spades}

Tarek Sleiman raised to 100,000 on the button and Martin Rothaermel moved all in for 280,000 in the small blind. Sleiman called and the cards were turned over.

Tarek Sleiman: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop gave Sleiman a lot of outs and, despite the blank {A-Hearts} turn, he got there on the {8-Spades} river. Rothaermel, who had a massive lead with four tables remaining, had to settle for 11th place and a payday of €3,121.

Big Double for Magalashvili

Michael Magashvili
Michael Magashvili

Christopher Back defended his big blind against a raise from Michael Magalashvili and they checked the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. On the {10-Clubs} turn, Back bet and called a raise to 300,000 by Magalashvili before checking the {Q-Hearts} river. Magalashvili jammed for 535,000 and Back called.

Magalashvili showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Spades} for the nut flush and back mucked his cards, which were revealed as the {10-Diamonds}{7-}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Oleg Pavlyuchuk then raised the pot and Back called all in from the small blind, Hanh Tran called in the big blind. Tan pushed on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and Pavlyuchuk folded.

Christopher Back: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Hanh Tran: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Spades} river completed the board and Back doubled with a straight.

Pavlyuchuk was left short and then doubled through Magalashvili with {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} versus {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} on a board of {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

Toni Haemaelainen
Toni Haemaelainen

It started rather innocent with a limp by Toni Haemaelaeinen in early position and Tarek Sleiman raised the pot from one seat over, making it 135,000 to go. Once the action was back on the Finn, Haemaelaeinen moved all in for around 370,000 and Sleiman called.

Toni Haemaelaeinen: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Tarek Sleiman: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Haeamaelaeinen was ahead but not happy at all with the showdown, and he would see the board run out {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} to give Sleiman two pair on turn and river. Haemaelaeinen was eliminated in 13th place for €2,488 and all remaining 12 players are guaranteed at least €3,121 for their efforts.

On the heads-up flop of {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Hanh Tran bet the pot and Dor Mey Tal moved all in for what appeared to be 520,000. Tran called with the words "I have one flush blocker" once he saw the cards of his opponent.

Dor Mey Tal: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Hanh Tran: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Dor Mey Tal raised to 80,000 in middle position and action folded to a short-stacked Max Pescatori in the big blind. He shoved over the top for just a bit more and Tal splashed in the few extra chips.
