Zhang Triple Barrels

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Yang Zhang opened from middle position and Viktor Kovachev was the only player to call from the cutoff. The flop came {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Zhang continued for 11,000. Kovachev called and the {q-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Zhang thought for a minute before tossing in another bet of 23,000 which Kovachev still called. The {j-Hearts} completed the board and Zhang slid in a third bet of 36,000. Kovachev went into the tank this time for at least two minutes and eventually decided to toss his cards to the muck.

Obreshkov and Argence Clash

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Yoan Argence called on the button and so did Stoyan Obreshkov in the small blind. James Walker opted to check his big blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, both Obreshkov and Walker checked. Argence bet 10,000 and only Obreshkov called.

The turn was the {a-Spades}, Obreshkov checked again. Argence bet 15,000. Obreshkov looked at the bet and at Argence.

"It's an invitation, I don't want to play hard against you," Argence said with a smile on his face.

"Check the river? OK, I will call one last time," Obreshkov said with a grin before putting the call in.

The river completed the board with the {7-Hearts} and they both checked indeed. Obreshkov tabled {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades} to pick up the pot.

Svab Plays It Cautiously

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Roman Svab raised to 12,500 from under the gun and Andrei Konopelko three-bet to 38,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Svab who just called to see a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}.

Svab check-called a bet of 25,000 from Konopelko and the {10-Spades} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {4-Clubs} completed the board. Two more checks and Svab was first to show as he turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Konopelko slid his cards to the muck and Svab took down a small pot.
