Manfredi Chops With Aldorf

Niveau 17 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Roberto Manfredi jammed for around 30,000 and Shay Aldorf called in the big blind.

Manfredi had a flip with {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} versus {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades} board gave both two pair with an ace kicker to chop it up.

Jozef Komorny: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Walter Pflueger: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Pflueger took down the pot with aces and kings, eliminating Komorny from the tournament.

Grospellier Doubles Through Can

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nesrin Can raised to 11,000 from middle position and Bertrand Grospellier three-bet jammed for 94,000 from the hijack. Can made the call.

Bertrand Grospellier: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Nesrin Can: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Can was ahead, however Grospellier hit a favorable flop of {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The {9-Spades} turn and {a-Diamonds} river filled up the board and Grospellier improved his hand to trip aces and raked in the pot.

Palascino's Aces Get Cracked

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nathan Gonikman bowed out when he faced the shoves of Joseph Palascino and Ioannis Chorianopoulos with two premium pocket pairs clashing.

Joseph Palascino: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Ioannis Chorianopoulos: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

After the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop Palascino gasped a "vaffanculo" and the {10-Spades} turn and {6-Diamonds} river brought no help to the Belgian.

"I folded pocket sevens," Gonikman said in table chat and Chorianopoulos replied "easy fold."

Nader Makes the Right Call

Niveau 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alfred Nader opened to 8,000 from the hijack and Ali Balci called from the cutoff along with Sebastien Dubois on the button and Idan Elberg in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and was checked around to the {q-Diamonds} turn. Elberg and Nader checked once more but Balci bet 5,000. Dubois let it go but Elberg and Nader check-called.

The {8-Spades} filled up the board and action was checked again to Balci who fired a bet of 30,000. Elberg instantly folded but Nader thought for a long while, then called. Balci tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for tens and sevens but that wasn't good enough as Nader turned over {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to win the pot with tens and eights.
