Vainqueur de l'Event #8 des WSOP Europe puis de l'Event #12 moins de 72 heures plus tard, Julien Martini ne réalisera pas la passe de trois. Le Français se présentait avec le plus gros tapis des 13 rescapés de l'Event #13 6-Max à 10 000€ mais il est tombé aux portes de la finale.
Le Français est le premier joueur de l'Hexagone à posséder trois bracelets WSOP mais Bertrand Grospellier peut le rejoindre puisqu'ElkY s'est qualifié pour l'ultime table qui se déroulera samedi. Sonny Franco l'accompagnera avec la tunique de chipleader et Romain Le Dantec disputera sa deuxième finale de la semaine avec un bon tapis lui aussi!
Après un Jour 1 retardé pour cause de manque de joueurs, se sont finalement 73 entrées qui ont été comptabilisées par les World Series Of Poker. Six Français s'étaient glissés au Jour 2... qui ne concernait plus que 13 rescapés pour 11 places payées.
Le Jour 2 s'est étalé sur un peu moins de 5 heures, vendredi au King's de Rozvadov en République Tchèque, et Fahredin Mustafov a été le premier à rendre les armes malgré sa premium, victime d'un shove de Sonny Franco au bouton.
Avec plusieurs joueurs en short, et après plusieurs double-ups plus ou miraculeux, Johan Guilbert a pris sa chance avec 4 blindes blindes sous le canon... pour faire la bulle, éliminé logiquement par Julien Martini (12e).

Assurés d'un gain de 18,049€, les joueurs moins fournis en jetons ont augmenté la fréquence de leurs mouvements et les éliminations se sont enchaînées.
Julien Sitbon (11e) a vite été rejoint dans le rail par le Serial casher WSOP Roland Israelashvili (6 places payées en 6 tournois ici à Rozvadov, ndlr). Ivan Bryksin a ensuite été victime de Franco alors qu'Ahmad Achegsei a mis un joli badbeat à ElkY pour survivre, le Français prenant ensuite sa revanche sur un flip
Julien Martini (8e) a suivi le mouvement, logiquement sorti par Romain Le Dantec et c'est finalement l'Allemand Ahmad Achegsei qui a raté la finale, éliminé par son compatriote Sirzat Hissou..
De quoi proposer un gros match France - Allemagne samedi !

Après avoir mis la pression à la bulle, Sonny Franco (2,4 millions) sera aux commandes devant l'Allemand Hissou et son compatriote Le Dantec... ce trio aura le temps alors qu'il y aura un peu moins de calculs chez Chris Puetz, Jakob Miegel ou ElkY.
Avec 15 blindes et le 4e tapis des survivants, Bertrand Grospellier n'aura pas le temps de flâner mais nulle doute que sa motivation sera au top pour tenter de rejoindre Julien Martini et tenter de s'offrir un 3e titre WSOP !

He then opened to 85,000 on the button and then called the small blind all-in from Romain Le Dantec.
