Covrig Gets A Double

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Sergiu Covrig
Sergiu Covrig

Dario Quattrucci opened to 4,000 before the calling the 22,500 all-in from Event #9: €1,100 NLH Bounty Hunter winner Sergiu Covrig.

Covrig's {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} made a pair on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop before his opponent's {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} made a flush draw on the {9-Diamonds} turn. The river was a red card but it was the {7-Hearts} to give the bracelet winner a double in the second level of the day.

Karademir Doubles Through Lipauka

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Down to the last 24,000, Fevzi Karademir moved all-in from the cutoff and Vadzim Lipauka flat-called on the button.

Fevzi Karademir: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Vadzim Lipauka: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop provided no help yet but the {q-Diamonds} turn improved Karademir to queens and sixes. Nothing changed on the {10-Hearts} river as Karademir held onto his lead.

Achegsei Wins Showdown Pot Against Bradley

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ian Bradley opened from under the gun to get called by Ahmad Achegsei only. On the {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, Bradley continued for 4,000 to earn a call and fired again the {4-Clubs} turn for 16,000, which Achegsei called.

The {2-Clubs} river was checked by both and Bradley announced ace-high before revealing his {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a busted double draw. Achegsei had that beat with the {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and earned the pot with his pair of fours.

Sinclair Fairing Better on Second Bullet

Niveau 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair bust early on Day 2 but was able to use his single re-entry to get back in amongst the action. He had already added chips to his fresh starting stack and was able to rake in a few more following an encounter versus Matthew Bushell.

Bushell opened in early position to 5,000 and only Sinclair called.

Sinclair, in the small blind, check-called a 4,500 bet on the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop before action checked through on the {j-Clubs} turn. The river was the {a-Clubs} and Sinclair took the pot after his opponent folded to his bet of 4,000.

Jelle Moene got his stack of around 90,000 in before the flop after table big stack Jovan Kenjic had squeezed to 20,000. The quick call followed to create the following showdown.

Jelle Moene: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Jovan Kenjic: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board improved Kenjic to aces and fives, sending Moene to the rail.

Mrakes Eliminated by Losev

Niveau 8 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Michal Mrakes
Michal Mrakes

Alexey Losev opened to 4,000 and received one caller. Michal Mrakes then three-bet jammed for 40,600 and Losey moved all-in over the top to isolate successfully.

Michal Mrakes: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Alexey Losev: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The Czech regular at King's Resort found no help on the {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} board and that spelled the end for Mrakes.
