WSOP bracelet winner Antoine Vranken opened to 5,500 from the hijack and was called by Josef Gulas and Axel Hallay from the button and big blind.

Vranken continued for 8,000 on the K104 flop before Gulas made it 22,000. Hallay called and Vranken folded.

The 8 turn then checked through to the 7 river. Hallay put Gulas all in for his last 83,000 and was called.

Hallay had K7 for kings and seven which beat Gulas' KJ.

Bahri Left on Fumes as Desset Keeps Climbing

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a completed board of 21042A, Andrej Desset bet out 80,000 chips from the cutoff in the pot of 95,000. Safwane Bahri was his opponent on the button and he took some minutes before putting in the call.

Desset tabled 44 for a full house and Bahri nodded in acknowledgment before mucking his cards, leaving himself with just under ten big blinds.

Chidwick Can't Bully Achille

Action folded to Stephen Chidwick who limped in from the small blind. Jacopo Achille then raised to 9,000 and Chidwick called.

The flop came 23Q and Achille continued for 6,000. Chidwick called and both players checked the 3 turn.

Chidwick led out for 6,000 on the 2 river and Achille snap-called. Chidwick showed 55, but Achille had KQ to win the pot with two pair, queens and deuces.

Pawlowski Takes From Panetti

Having defended the big blind against a raise by Christophe Panetti, it was Kacper Pawlowski who checked the KK9 flop and subsequently check-raised to 11,000. Panetti called and they headed to the 6 turn. Pawlowski now bet 15,000 and Panetti let go eventually.

Reard Picks Up Kings to Double

Heads-up on a board of 83510, Hyun Sup Kim bet 11,000 from the cutoff before Alexandre Reard moved all in for 49,500 in the hijack.

Kim agonized over the decision for a minute before calling, turning over Q10 for top pair. Reard showed KK and was poised for a double up heading to the 3 river, which secured him the pot.

Keneshka Kabir, who began the day as one of the top stacks in the tournament, is also at this table and has steadily increased his stack over the first two levels to around 500,000.

Jalba Cannot Bluff Bukala

Robert Bukala raised to 5,500 and Eusebiu Jalba in the big blind gave him a stare down before making the call. Jalba then led the 742 flop for 4,000 and the 3 turn for 14,000, both of which Bukala called.

They checked the 4 river and Jalba tabled the 109, Bukala won the pot with the JJ.

"Nice hand," Jalba said to his opponent and Bukala joked back "nice try".

On a turn of K275, Maksym Tsyhryk checked from the big blind and Levan Rcheulishvili made a bet of 5,500 from button. Tyshryk then raised to 16,600 and Rcheulishvili made the call.

The 5 river rolled off and Tsyhryk slowed down with a check. Rcheulishvili pushed out one more bet, of 40,000, and Tsyhryk made an immediate call.

Rcheulishvili tabled KJ for two pair and it won him the pot when Tsyhryk's cards hit the muck.
