Dusco Dusts Boghean

Niveau 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 5K8J, Andrei Boghean bet 56,000 from the big blind and Alexandr Dusco moved all in from the cutoff.

Boghean spent a few minutes looking over at the tournament clock checking for the next pay jump before tossing in his last 100,000. He showed K3 for a pair of kings, but Dusco had J8 for two pair.

The river was the 9 and Boghean was eliminated.

Pucci Last to Leave Before Break

Niveau 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Michele Pucci
Michele Pucci

While all other tables were barren of players, Ruslan Volkov and Michele Pucci were still battling. Volkov had raised to 25,000 from the button before Pulci three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind.

Volkov then jammed, covering Pucci's stack of roughly 300,000 chips. Pucci pondered for a moment before making the call, and the players showed down.

Michele Pucci: AQ
Ruslan Volkov: 33

The board ran out 82742 and Volkov won the pot with his pocket pair.

Pucci let his opponent know he was not happy with the play, but Volkov just shrugged his shoulders and kept stacking chips onto his impressive tower.

Dvoress Done In by Cruel River

Niveau 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

In a blind versus blind battle, Yulian Bogdanov bet 60,000 on a flop of QQK and Daniel Dvoress then raised to 135,000.

Bogdanov called and the 10 fell on the turn. He checked over to Dvoress, and Dvoress then bet 165,000. Bogdanov came back with an all-in shove and sent Dvoress deep in the tank.

Dvoress spent several minutes shaking his head and counting out his stack before calling for around 500,000. He turned over Q7 for trips, while Bogdanov had K10.

"I knew you had a queen," Bogdanov said as he was one card away from handing over the massive double up. The river, though, brought the K and Bogdanov spiked a full house to send Dvoress crashing to the rail in sudden fashion.

Two Seat Open in a Row on Table 151

Niveau 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Vladas Tamasauskas

Ramon Kropmanns ended his massage prematurely and his cards were already mucked out of the big blind, as the chips were pushed to Max Neugebauer. The latter had raised from under the gun and flopped the nuts with J10 on 987.

According to Neugebauer, Kropmanns had open-jammed the big blind with the Q9x for top pair on the flop. The Q turn gave the Brazilian some outs to escape but the 8 river was not among them.

One hand later, Eric Tsai raised to 25,000 and called the shove by Vladas Tamasauskas for 50,000 total.

Vladas Tamasauskas: KQ
Eric Tsai: AJ

"Do you take a chop?" Tamasauskas joked and Tsai predicted a six-seven-eight flop. The latter almost came true on 874 before the A turn gave Tsai the top pair and Tamasauskas the nut flush draw.

Nothing changed with the A river as it was only Tsai who improved to trips aces, sending the next player to the rail.

Eljach Busts Another

Niveau 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Arvydas Merfeldas survived the bubble with just 3,000 and got his last chips in the middle from the cutoff against Omar Eljach in middle position.

Arvydas Merfeldas: 75
Omar Eljach: AJ

The flop came AA2 and Eljach made trips to take a big lead. "Four of clubs for a sweat," Eljach said.

Boghean Spikes the Flop, Dusco Hits the Turn to Double; Eljach Takes Out Descultu

Niveau 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexandr Dusco moved all in for 166,000 in the cutoff and Andrei Boghean called in the big blind.

Alexandr Dusco: AK
Andrei Boghean: KQ

The flop came 7Q2 and Boghean pulled in front with a pair of queens. "What the f**k," a frustrated Dusco said as he stood up from his seat, but the A arrived on the turn to put him back in the lead.

The river was the 7 and Dusco doubled up. "Sorry," he said to Boghean.

At another table, Claudiu Descultu was all in for 65,000 and Omar Eljach reraised on the button, forcing out the rest of the table. "Protection," he told Descultu.

Claudiu Descultu: J3
Omar Eljach: A3

Eljach had Descultu dominated as the board came 4A59Q, giving Eljach top pair and the knockout.

Weiran Pu
Weiran Pu

Weiran Pu moved all in for his last 170,000 in the hijack and was immediately at risk when Alex Keating called in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded, leaving Pu heads up on the bubble.

Weiran Pu: AQ
Alex Keating: AA

Pu ran into Keating's pocket aces but did pick up a flush draw on the 7K2 flop. He was unable to improve further on the 2 turn or K river, as Keating took down a nice pot while Pu bowed out in 124th place.

All 123 remaining players are now in the money, with the tournament no longer hand for hand.
