Mao Straightens Geisler Out

Renji Mao
Renji Mao

Sebastian Geisler, Rostyslav Sabishchenko, and Renji Mao were in for 14,000 each heading to a flop, which came 5K4.

Sabishchenko checked from the small blind and Mao checked from the big blind. Geisler then shoved for his last 17,500, which got a quick fold from Sabishchenko, but a call from Mao after a bit of deliberation to put Geisler at risk.

Sebastian Geisler: KKJ3
Renji Mao: J1032

The A turn provided Mao with a wheel to vault him into the lead and left Geisler drawing to a full house.

It wasn't meant to be, however, as the 9 river bricked out for Geisler and he was eliminated — sending the sizable pot Mao's way.

Rodrigues Goes Runner Runner

Niveau 20 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Michael Rodrigues
Michael Rodrigues

Wiktor Weiner opened to 21,000 from under the gun and Michael Rodrigues called from early position. Levan Rcheulishvili raised to 75,000 from the hijack and Weiner called for less, putting himself all in. Rodrigues also made the call.

The flop came 1074 and Rodrigues moved all in for 161,000. Rcheulishvili called with a covering stack to put Rodrigues at risk.

Wiktor Weiner: AA33
Michael Rodrigues: KQ86
Levan Rcheulishvili: KJ109

All three players had some equity. Weiner had an overpair, Rodrigues had a flush draw and double-gutshot straight draw and Rcheulishvili had top pair, a gutshot and a bigger flush draw. The rest of the board ran out Q6. Rodrigues had missed his flush and straight draws but had made runner runner two pair to take both the main and side pot, eliminating Weiner in the process while taking a huge chunk out of Rcheulishvili's stack.

Michael Rodrigues opened to 55,000 from early position and Javier Francort three-bet to 195,000. Rodrigues made the call.

On the AQ3 flop Francort moved all in and was called by Rodrigues who had a covering stack.

Javier Francort: AA109

Francort had the nuts on the flop with top set but still had to fade the flush and straight draws of Rodrigues. Francort's set of aces had been cracked and he was sent to the rail while Rodrigues collected the last of his chips.

Mejzel Juseinov got the last of his chips in against Michal Mrakes who had a covering stack.

On a final board of Q9879, Juseinov's KQ6x4x could not best Mrakes, who held AxQx10x10x. Both players held two pair, queens and nines but Mrakes' ace kicker played and he took down a healthy pot while Juseinov's deep run came to an end.
