The 2022 Wynn Millions is a series comprised of 16 events with more than $15 million in guaranteed prize money. There's a tournament for just about any type of poker player — high stakes, mid-stakes, no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, bounty events, etc. And there are two seniors events for players aged 50 and above — $400 and $1,100.

From February 28-March 1, the $1,100 NLH Seniors $100K GTD attracted 246 runners and more than doubled the guarantee by creating a $239,850 prize pool.

Among those to finish in the top 27 and cash were David Levi (24th - $2,434), Lee Markholt (23rd - $2,677), Kathy Liebert (16th - $3,279), Bob Mather (13th - $4,147), Scott Epstein (7th - $7,771), and Curt Kohlberg (4th - $17,029).

After Andrew Robbins bowed out in third place for $24,585, the title came down to Las Vegas pros Mark Seif and Mitch Garshofsky. Ultimately it was the former who came out on top to claim the trophy and $60,610 first-place prize.

Action was caught on the river of a pot with more than 500,000 in it. The board showed {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Thomas Boivin bet 525,000. David Lambard tanked for about five minutes before deciding to fold. Neither player showed, but Boivin took down a massive pot and is now the biggest stack in the tournament at break.

Shorr Leaves Jaffe with Short Stack

Niveau 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Shannon Shorr raised from late position to 25,000. Jonathan Jaffe, in the small blind, called, as did the big blind. The flop came out {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and the blinds both checked. Shorr fired out a continuation bet of 34,000. Only Jaffe called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}. Jaffe checked again and Shorr made another wager, this time for 115,000, which didn't convince his opponent to fold.

When the {q-Spades} appeared on the river, action checked to bigger stack who announced "all in." Jaffe decided on a fold, saving his final 95,000 chips, while Shorr took down a big pot.

Joo Takes Big Pot on River

Niveau 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With roughly 200,000 in the pot on a {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} board, a button player bet 68,000, Jake Daniels called the big blind, and Hyo Joo raised to 250,000 in early position. Both opponents called.

The {5-Diamonds} completed the board and after Daniels checked, Joo moved all-in for approximately 265,000. Both his opponents folded and Joo raked in the sizable pot without a showdown.
